Aegean Plaza Hotel in Kamari

I stayed at this hotel last week. Everything (reception, room, housekeeping, food) was very good except the (2) buffet waitresses. There were 2 bad experiences with them. One of them was removing all my food without my permission when I was getting some toasted bread from inside. When I went outside all my plates were taken by the waitress and when I asked where my food is, she kind of blamed me and said, "I took everything because you did not leave any personal belongings!!". So, it was my fault that I did not leave my cell phone (that was the only personal item) on the table!!! And she says I can get your food back and I started laughing saying to her you do not even know what I picked. She was very annoying and rude!! This never ever happened to me at any buffet. The other incident happened the next day when we were leaving the hotel. That day my daughter could not finish her food, and we needed to catch the boat. I told her I would take her left over food with me and she can eat it on the boat. After I left another waitress caught my 13-year-old daughter and yelled at her saying that we can't take the food in our room without knowing that we had another reason. My daughter came to our room crying, good job Ms. waitress!! So, overall because these nice(!) people they deserve 1 star instead of 5 stars!

We didn't like the hotel at all; the rooms are very dark. The towels smell bad, so we bought them as a bed and breakfast. Upon arrival, they said you could get free water from anywhere, but then they tried to charge you. They were also not very friendly. We were not satisfied with the service. We do not recommend it.
