We visited Santorini recently with 10 other family members for our niece's wedding. El Greco was our hotel of choice. Great decision!! Generally it's a beautiful place. The room is awesome, the pools and plants. The only minuses are: nothing special for breakfast (like in a typical 3-4 star hotel) and the pools not heated (not even one)

Wonderful hotel and service was great. Easy walk to shops 10 mins. Bar service at pool and Esmerelda was great. Breakfast not so good, food not hot e.g. bacon eggs etc. Location was excellent

Traveling with two kids, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent ,  less than a 10-minute walk to Fira and the bus stop. The breakfast was also good. The only downside was that the staff were quite rude and not very friendly, which was disappointing considering how nice everything else was.

The resort itself is lovely, but the view from our room was of a wall. No one at reception spoke Italian, and the sweet options at breakfast were disappointing.

Hotel has large, spacious room, and depending where you are located you are very close to one of the many pools the hotel has to offer. Almost 10 min walk to Fira Breakfast was included and amazing. My husband can’t stop thinking about the burger! He got it twice in 5 days and it was worth every cent! Bed was great! Awesome pillows. This resort is a real gem in a fantastic location. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, and getting into town is quick and easy. Having read some of these reviews I was a bit concerned about having to get up early for sunbeds. I shouldn't have worried. Just back from a week at this hotel and it was great. All staff are very friendly. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste but there was always cereals and eggs. The shower heads are rusted but this is because it is sea water that comes out, the same as the sink. It’s a great location right beside the sea, with shop at end of street. We enjoyed everything at the Hermes Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us “feel at home.” It is set in a lovely area and we will be coming back. There’s plenty of choice for breakfast, the bar staff are brilliant and very accommodating.

Luxury away from the crowds This was the perfect end to our Greek island hopping holiday. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and we couldn’t recommend the hotel enough. Shower head was broke and the bathtub and shower was very old with a weird shower curtain making it difficult to shower. Old school key ( only had one) that had to be kept in the light switch in order to keep the air conditioning on. If you did though, there was no way to lock your room. Amazing service and one of the best views in Pygros. The breakfast provided was amazing. Had the best fried eggs, vanilla cakes, and juices of my life here. This was a nice family-owned hotel on a road just off the main road going to Fira. It is a 1-minute walk to the main road to catch the convenient buses. The breakfast was OK, pool is nice, rooms are decent and with balconies, staff are friendly, rooms made up daily.

It is located in the walking distance from the public bus on the street as well as the hub in Fira. People are very nice and breakfast is good.

We stayed our last night in Santorini at On The Rocks. The room had a loft bedroom with a window view of the Aegean Sea. The cave pool was fun, and Linda had a facial that she described as the best she’s ever had. The staff was fantastic and accommodating. Great service from the time we got picked up from the airport until the time we left. Daily breakfast is a plus, esp the Freddo cappuccino. Walkable to restaurants and a 24 hour market where they serve hot foods to snacks- this was beneficial esp when dealing with jet lag. Quiet and safe area, which is a treat after visiting Oia or Fira. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have our holiday in Glaros , is a nice hotel , very quiet close to the beach and close to the restaurants and shops. Swimming pool is little smaller then expected and in the shadow, but very clean . Breakfast was very good the only thing was that we could not have access to the coffee machine until 8 am and we needed to go on the beach for the morning coffee. I recommend this hotel to anyone...

We are GaGa for Gla Gla. Perfect location in the heart of Kamari in walking distance to the seafront and restaurants. Friendly staff that are happy to go the extra mile for you as well. Our highlight was our balcony where we had a pre-dinner drink every evening. Rooms were a bit basic but would gladly go again.

lovely hotel, ideally located in Kamari staff very friendly and helpful. The room is OK with the modern bathroom and pool but the bed is very uncomfortable. Lovely little hotel. Guests need to be aware of the Environment Tax of €10 a night for each night you stay, we got caught out. All other aspects are great. We had breakfast included and were very pleasantly surprised by the variety.

One of the best stays we’ve had in the last few years. The views from anywhere in the hotel were gorgeous. We couldn't have found a better place for our 7days stay in Santorini. The most wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. The hotel itself very clean with spatious rooms, great pool and just within 5min walking distance from the beach and lots of restaurants. An AMAZING experience. Highly recommend!👍

Really beautiful location, the town is not too busy but a good atmosphere whereas Oia and Fira is just chaos. Very, very busy. Apartment was really spacious, very clean and air con doesn't cost additional and free wifi - all great! No washing up liquid etc provided as your cleaners actually do that for you (bless them!).
