Best Hotels in Balatonfured

 The food was good and I was able to select a healthy variety at breakfast and dinner.  The desserts were excellent!  I had a great massage and used the swimming pool regularly

Location is the best part, directly on the lake shore, with a beautiful park in front of the hotel. Otherwise it's good enough, nothing special

Location was good but the private strand wasn’t comfortable. There were no sun beds available for to use, had to rent them which is bad! Should be provided! The restaurant was crowded hard to find tables anytime!

 The hotel was in an excellent location and I rented a bike on 2 occasions to see the sites:  Tihany Abbey and Church, pleasure boat trip on Lake Balaton and a tour of the city

A really great hotel that is in a good location near the promenade. Nice to have access to the hotel beach too.

The location of the hotel is impeccable, we are completely satisfied. The food is also perfect, always a good choice. Breakfast is rich, as is dinner. A big plus is the bathtub in the bathroom

this used to be the case and is no longer the case! There is also very little to do in the evening! In the evening you can enjoy an aperitif that is free of charge! Upstairs you can drink a cocktail for a fee, which I understand is a fee, but it's a shame that you pay almost 1 euro for service costs! Furthermore, it is wonderful that you have such a large lake and a large garden with lots of shade...

This hotel has probably the best location by the lake and probably the best beach area with large territory and a lot of amenities. It's not worth coming in bad weather though as the wellness area is small and outdated

Service is excellent with skilled workforce and there is good animation for the kids

A good European all-inclusive hotel with clean pools, well-maintained, spacious grounds, plenty of space, and plenty of entertainment for small children (half the hotel's guests)

"There's a shortage of seating in the dining room. People smoke on the beach loungers because, instead of information about the smoking ban and the designated areas, there's a notice saying not to feed the ducks

+ Clean, nice beach, loungers always available and free of charge (bravo). The bar serves alcohol in the evenings is very efficient. The service throughout the hotel is very friendly

Good quiet place, clean, food is excellent only one little mistake doesn’t have kettle for me personally is important I need to take my medication 2 time/ day with hot water just sup rip me never ever happened when I’m travelling another hotel and another country always have Good lessons

What we liked: Good check in experience Pillow menu Modern and clean Plenty of storage in the bedroom Sofa and lounge area in the room Balcony overlooking the pool Plenty of car park spaces What we didn't like: Dinner was a buffet style, and the choices did not look appetising at all

I can only recommend this hotel!! We had a lovely stay there. The staff were very kind,professional, and helpful (except the ones at the breakfast). Our room was clean, spacious, with a nice balcony

It would be nice to strengthen the wifi a bit and to put at least a basic small kettle in the room so that I could make my favorite tea next time :-) But these are just small details

The breakfast and dinner were quite good. I can say that for this price we got what we paid for. For 3* You can get everything what You need

Very nice hotel, close to the camp next to danubius hotel. Hotel has room where to save bikes. Biking is common around Balaton. Outside pool and wellness also perfect

Our room was clean, equipped with air conditioning, television, safe and minibar. The sheets, towels and the bathroom were clean. The room was warm when we arrived, but after a day it was cooled with the air-conditioner

The rooms and the common places were beautifully renewed, the whole atmosphere is elegant and cozy. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of opportunities. Even with kids have got lot possibilities

Great hotel very near to the Balaton. The breakfast and dinner buffet are fantastic. Several options, there is some excellent local food for all tastes. The beach is of walking distance as most everything is nearby

zsh ok so be aware of this hotel, the main building looks beautiful, but no lift for suitcases. they put us in a Side building, which was just ok. Breakfast was however very good

It was wonderful! Best hotel near Balaton. I liked the sauna, the inner pool and the huge king sized bed as well! I will return.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The dinner options were excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from

Food was good but if you got used to buffet type of breakfast and dinner then you'll be disappointed. They call their catering as being Hybrid

This is a very nice, big hotel. The rooms are big and have balconies. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. It has a large parking lot but the location is very poor

It's situated on the exit of the city and it is approximately 2. 5-3 km away from the public Strand. 7 miles from the hotel but the beach that can be used and where all the restaurants and shops are situated is far away

There's plenty of parking around the side and it's in a reasonably good location. If everything is so good, then why the slightly average score

I expected more from a 4-star hotel. Food was ok+, but I would expect more choice for a 4-star hotel. Our room door (around the handle and lock) looked like someone had broken into the room in the past

Maybe we were just unlucky because it really was the only such door on the entire floor, but no one at the reception told us about the condition of the door untill we saw it by ourselves

Cozy hotel with a nice restourant, staff speaks German. It is located right in tge center of Balatonfüred so excellent for experiencing and enjoying the spirit of the town.

It had yoghurt, cereals, whole apples and oranges, jam, honey, cold cuts, cheese, different type of breads, sweet baked goods and a Lavazza coffee machine

When there during the week early September I was the only guest and there was only one elderly man present, who took came of everything, from reception to breakfast. He spoke German, but wasn't very talkative

I was in the room 12 and it was very confortable. The bed was amazing I fell asleep very fast and I woke up to bird sing. The staff was very helpful and food was tasty. This hotel is situated near the center

The apartment is clean and nicely laid out, with air conditioning, blinds, and free Wi-Fi. A washing machine and dishwasher are also provided

Clean rooms, adequate facilities, close to the beach, no noise from the main road.

This place is in a great location, within walking distance of the promenade. The rooms/areas with a kitchenette and separate bedroom aren't impressive, but they're sufficient for everyday living

The downsides include a musty smell that's impossible to get rid of, a refrigerator that sounds like a plane is taking off (for light sleepers), and a broken freezer (the ice cream had melted)

This is an all around excellent property with personalized service and an exceptional buffet breakfast. Location is on a quiet residential street yet close to transportation and the lake.

We stayed here for two nights. It is an excellent location. The food was first class and the staff were very friendly.

The receptionist is very nice and friendly. The breakfast was of a big variety, but not the best quality. Unfortunately, we had a lot of ants in the bathroom, and the WiFi wasn't working in the bedroom.

A clean and comfortable room, very warm. There is an indoor spa with a heated pool and a sauna, perfect way to spend a cold afternoon in winter! The breakfast was nice and the host was lovely and friendly.

The guest house is conveniently close to the station and on arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown our room which was clean, large and very well appointed. The breakfast was simply fantastic

Kind and happy staff. They were very helpful. The rooms were okay at best. I had to have a shower while fully bending over, that was quite uncomfortable. They had 0-24 saunas and a 0-24 outdoor pool.

And of course there is a very good coffee available. The sound isolation is not great. The bathroom did not have any lock inside. Overall I am happy with choosing to stay here

What makes the location perfect is the fact that is just a few minutes walk to the lake. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. They cook eggs any style you want

But one room really smelled and the second bathroom had a nasty smell! They helped book a taxi- went 7 km to Tihany for $37 US…. A total rip off! Came back by bus for $3

Reception was exceptional! Very nice and helpful people working at the desk. We arrived early at 2 pm… rooms were not ready… reception very apologetic

I stayed in this guesthouse 5 years ago, but at that time gmaps was not so popular with reviews. I have only good memories about my stay here, I booked on the internet and within one hour I was already there

This is a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking spaces. The lodge is quite nice and neat. Spotless clean and functionalable. We loved it and certainly come back. The breakfast is reasonably well with limited choices

We were very happy to find this place for a good price, close to the town center, close to the train station. It is clean, neat, very nice place. It has a “lobby” with fridge to use that you share with others

Very good accomodation for a reasonable price. We had a delay few hours, but it was no problem for the owner. We recommed it, very kind people.

Great guesthouse, close to the vineyards. Very good wines. Reasonably priced. Great panorama to Lake Balaton from both the restaurant and the guesthouse. Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Very much recommend!
