I stayed 1 night and woke up with multiple bites (5 large, very itchy welts). My friend also had bites. Symptoms started the next day, so I’m certain it happened at the hostel. I reported it and sent photos, but their response was dismissive: they claimed nothing was found, offered no solution, no apology, and eventually stopped replying. Very concerning experience and poor handling of a serious issue. I would not stay here again. Be cautious.

It’s my 50th Birthday and I’m travelling alone….the staff made me feel so welcome and even gave me cake 🥰🥰🥰

Great venue, great food. Reasonable prices. Loved the reindeer burger ! Happy hour lasts quite a few hours so made it affordable. We ended up eating and drinking there a couple of days.

I understand this place was supposed to be budget-friendly, but it was extremely noisy. There’s a bar downstairs and the music was thumping until 1 a.m. – an hour past quiet hours. We didn’t expect it to be silent, but music going on after midnight is really too much.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the showers are located in the basement. To take a shower in the evening, you have to walk through the bar area full of people, which feels quite uncomfortable. On top of that, the showers were dirty and poorly maintained, which made the experience even worse.
Overall, it’s fine if you just need a cheap place and don’t mind loud music late at night, but it’s definitely not a good choice if you’re hoping to get some sleep or a clean shower

Overall it was ok. We stayed at the fourth floor, which was quiet, but the showers were in the basement and one had to go thru the bar at the ground floor to get there. The reception was at the bar counter and it was noisy and hard to understand house rules. Lastly the receptionist wasn’t too interested or inclined to provide additional details.

The prices are reasonable at first glance, but the service feels careless and indifferent. During my four-day stay in town, I noticed that the front doors slam so hard they echo painfully inside, and management doesn’t seem concerned about fixing it. As for the menu, nearly everything is heavy and unhealthy, with very few lighter or wholesome options. If you do find something that looks decent, it’s overpriced compared to the quality. The one redeeming factor here is the happy hour—drinks are fairly priced and enjoyable.

There were foundation marks on the pillow cases in the room. The floor of the public bathroom was dirty and it was on the first floor. To go to the bathroom to take a shower, you had to walk through the bar on the first floor, which was very inconvenient. The toilet is generally hygienic. I live on the second floor. At night, customers from the bar on the first floor come up to the second floor to use the toilet. The noise from the bar stops at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night.

Looking at the reviews, it seems the management has changed since before, and the kitchen for guests that was previously advertised is no longer there, and there is only a microwave and what appears to be a kettle. The outlets in the hallway have also been blocked off, presumably to prevent charging, and the impression that the services offered are not very substantial.
The location was easy to find, and the room was clean. There were no amenities available for rental, and I refrained from using the shower due to the atmosphere.
The private room I rented was extremely simple, with just a bed, desk, and chair, and no hangers or anything like that. It seems fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep for one night.

The bar/cafe downstairs had a really great vibe and great happy hours. Great place to grab coffee, drinks, or food.
