My Parents and I stayed here Aug 2025 before flying home in the morning. Perfect location, easy access to Airport. Clean rooms, we had a room for 3, twin beds for each of us. Breakfast was included as well.

Impressive hospitality and flexibility. Early check-in and late check-out were accommodated without any issues. The staff were friendly and helpful, including assisting with calling a taxi to the airport. Highly recommended.

Average amenities, there's a little shared kitchen on upstair, you might have to share bathroom with your neighbours. But if all you want is just finding a place to stay untill flight check-in time. This is a acceptable choice with reasonable price

We actually booked a hotel next door, and they saw us standing in the rain waiting to get into our hotel... they were kind enough to come out in the rain and let us know the hotel we were trying to get into was closed indefinitely. We had a very pleasant stay at this cozy and very original B&B. The host was extremely kind, the pick-up at the airport very smooth and our special request was fulfilled as well. Thank you very much :) we would definitely stay there again and recommend it the warmest to other people.

Had to stay here for a second day after being delayed due to cancellations at the airport. This is a very nice hotel and is quite cheap, although you get what you pay for. The rooms were extremely minimalistic, just the minimums that you need like a bed, table, TV, etc. The room and bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were also friendly. We stayed in the newer building. The bathrooms were nice but the linens and towels were dirty and had hair on them. The walls apparently are thin because the room next door to us kept banging on the wall telling us to be quiet. There was no elevator so we had to carry luggage up 3 flights. It's close to the hotel. Kinda dark outside at night.

This is a perfectly convenient dormitory style hostel. I had a private bedroom in a suite which shared a toilet and shower with another guest. We had a heavy locked door to the hallway and each of the bedrooms also had a locked door. I stayed by chance having been booked here by icelandair for a flight disruption. In the unpleasant event of the snowstorm this place turned the situation in a very pleasant stay; though being simple, it is very much homey and welcoming. Plus the very kind and friendly receptionist did his very best to welcome, assist us, and providing an excellent solution for dinner. Takk fyrir!!

Clean, warm, and comfortable bed. The shower is deep/hard to get into and slippery. I recommend a no slip mat inside the shower for added safety.

Only intended as an overnight stay to catch the early flight the following day. For this sufficient. Room surprisingly large, but very spartan furnished. Bathroom, shower and especially shower head are getting on in years. Conclusion: For one night ok, but and it was already the cheapest accommodation near the airport, way too expensive.

The staff was super friendly, even changing my room so I would have a better view in case the northern lights would make an appearance! I had to be up super early for a flight so in-room coffee makers would be my suggestion. Otherwise staff gave me a complimentary transfer back to the airport, what more could I ask for?!

The Keilir is a very nice family owned Hotel. It is clean, safe, has good heat and fist internet. The breakfast is simple but nice and food is fresh. I have stayed at just about every hotel in Keflavik and for my money Hotel Keilir is the best value. I've spent dozens of nights there and I always look forward to my stay.

Hotel Keiler is lovely, nice rooms and conveniently located in town. Staff is the best part, very friendly and helpful especially when we were in a tough travel situation working through Icelandair. Can’t thank staff enough for the help! One note, you’ll need shampoo, or may need to ask about it on arrival. A grocery store for affordable needs is just 2 min walk though!

We booked this place for its convenience to the airport the next day. We arrived late, and there was no one at the front desk. We received an email with a password, and that's how we got into the room. The room was quite spacious. There's parking available nearby. The facilities are just average, though. Nice hotel located just opposite to the airport, good choice for guests that have an early morning flight as the airport check in and security check might take a while in peak seasons. We stayed one night at this hotel in a family apartment.It had 2 double beds and one twin which fit 5 of us perfectly.This is almost like a hostel the check in information was emailed a day before the which was convenient.Can’t comment on staff since we did not interact with anyone.Overall it’s an alright place to stay close to the airport.

I stayed here two nights prior to my flight to Spain. The hotel is very nice with very easy access to the Terminal building. The breakfast was very good and offering a variety of items to suit most tastes. My only criticism is the dinner menu is extremely pricy and limited. Overall a great stay clean and comfortable hotel which I would really recommend.

It’s an airport based hotel so no didn’t expect any frills especially for the price we paid. That said the room was very spacious, bed was clean and comfortable. Short but nice stay. We just stayed one night as we had a layover. We look for a hotel close to the airport to reduce the cost of transport. This was about 10min from the airport but still cost $47cdn. There was no front desk staff but our paperwork and key we at the front desk waiting for us. We had a nice breakfast before we left back to the airport.

The older gentleman staff member is outstanding and so sweet. I didn’t know what to expect with the breakfast but it was simple yet satisfying. Highly recommend the peppermint tea. This hotel don't have elevator and no one is there to help you with luggage. It was not a pleasant experience when you have 50lbs bags to carry one flight up.. Really good value compared to other hotels near the airport. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms well appointed. You have to self check in but everything went smoothly. We liked the common kitchen area plus the rooms have a mini kitchen and fridge.

The unit has a very thin walls. I was awaked by people on the second floor at 4 am. They were getting their stuff together for an hour. Cannot sleep during that time at all.

The kitchen is marvelous! The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable. Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me.
