We stayed at the Diamond Suites for 3 nights, and it was the best. Breakfast is abundant, rooms are super clean and stylish, the staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located fairly close to the airport (8-minute drive) and only 10 minutes from the Blue Lagoon. Our family had an excellent time.

My now fiancée and I had a wonderful experience at the Diamond Suites! My fiancée proposed the week before we got there and I wanted to surprise him with a little something, so I emailed customer service and they upgraded our stay! It made our celebration even more special. The room was so clean and beautiful we will never forget it.

Outstanding stay in a superb hotel, where we preferred to stay after a long day’s travel. Wonderful receptionist took great care of us with room upgrade and early check in. Bar menu extraordinary. Meals were good. Amenities top of the line.

We checked in on a Sunday and were super pleased with our room. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back. Hotel KEF is on of the best hotels we have stayed at. Big thank you.

We were upgraded to the very unique suite area and immediately took advantage of the extra space outside of the room when my husband needed a quick nap. The bathroom was also fun with a heated toilet seat and multiple lighting options for the tub. We also enjoyed in the surround sound so we could listen to music while we relaxed!

We ended up stuck here for 2 days after Iceland Air cancelled our flight. The room was very nice- the provided breakfast was good. The heated floors in the bathroom were very nice. The Castle House Luxury Apartments are I such a great location. Everything is within walking distance with the bus stops to most of the tours within 5 minutes walk. Wish they had some signage so we would have known we were standing across the street when we asked a stranger if they knew where the place was. The shower was tiny and water flooded the floor no matter what we did to keep it from happening. Great location.

Wonderful location just off the center of the city. Comfortable and clean apartment. Felt very safe for a solo traveler. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. I didn’t use the other appliances. Bed was comfy and shower was fantastic. Host communication was excellent. Convenient luggage storage if you get in early, or if you are leaving the city well after check out.

It offers great value for money, is located in the city center, and is very close to other places; the cathedral is just up a hill away.

Spend a weekend in Reykjavik! A weekend was the perfect amount of time to explore the city of Reykjavik. We found a great tour about the local lore and a couple of museums about Icelandic history.

Apartment was great, as was the location. Only two minor adjustments I would make personally - put felt pads on all the furniture, this will reduce noise for the apartment below. Second is the shower, place a bracket at an angle for the hand held sprayer so it doesn’t just spray you vertically!

Good, well equipped facility in an excellent location. Good, courteous staff. Only downside is location works against you at weekends late at night with street noise (unless you're one of them of course), so perhaps not best for young families. Recommended.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Apartment was clean and spacious. No USB/USBC points though so take plugs. Garage was underneath the apartment so very handy. Would stay again if we returned.

Amazingly convenient and well-stocked apartment. Nice and warm and close to everything. Only thing - TV is old. But then again, most hotels' TVs are. Also a bit of street noise - but there's not too much traffic so not terrible. Close to airport bus stop (about 5 mins walk) so we loved it.

Very nice roomy and comfortable apartment near everything in the downtown area. We had the 1 bedroom on the 3rd floor, the space was roomy, had a comfortable bed and dishes for 3 to 4. The shower doors were a bit hinky, but work well once you figure them out. Water pressure was strong and very hot. 1 minute walk to kronan, 5 minutes to bus stop 3, 5 minutes to rainbow street, shopping and restaurants...

Great location however if you have gear to carry, it’s a bit of a walk from the closest bus stop and there is NO elevator. We were on the 4th floor and had a lot of gear. Very basic, no coffee and the shower doors were weird. Floors guaranteed to get wet. One towel for your stay. But is a good location to shops and restaurants.

We were nine women traveling together, and the apartment was spacious with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was plenty of space and all necessary kitchen equipment was available. The view from the room was spectacular. We had a car and access to Reykjavík and out of town for sightseeing was very easy.

This is not a 5 star accommodation as in luxury etc. But it by no means deserved a 4 star review , so I had to give it 5. Lovely and cosy and clean. Very very helpful and friendly staff. We also had the breakfast basket added and it was fantastic, such a lovely treat every day. Would highly recommended both for couples and especially for families.

We absolutely loved our apartment which had a separate double bedroom and twin beds in the living area. Having a sofa, kitchen and dining table was lovely - it felt like being at home. the breakfast baskets delivered to our door were very generous and good quality. The kids loved having a PlayStation! Really a great hotel in the suite type style. Clean, immaculate, and a great central location in Reykjavik. Staff is very helpful. One staff member called back a tour bus after we had accidently missed the departure time. Definitely, worth the price!

I was pleasantly surprised.  The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Reykjavik.  It is within walking distance  to shops and restaurants.  The transportation service to airport was added benefit.  I highly recommend this hotel 

This hotel had the nicest staff I encountered during my trip. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional. Their warm attitude made me feel comfortable and cared for. I really loved staying here and would happily come back again.

We were really pleased with our stay here both times we've visited. Julia, Victoria and the staff there were unfailingly polite and helpful. The building we stayed in was well appointed and super convenient to everything we wanted to do. The only challenge here is parking, but it's possible if you pay attention. Plan ahead if you have folks in your party who have accessibility concerns.

Great stay. Very convenient and close to all activities. Parking can be a hassle as there is no dedicated spot - people living around the building seem a bit testy about renters. Our entry code was sent to us ahead of time but was not ‘initiated’ so did not work - had to call and get a new one impromptu. A bit unexpected.
