I stayed by chance having been booked here by icelandair for a flight disruption. In the unpleasant event of the snowstorm this place turned the situation in a very pleasant stay; though being simple, it is very much homey and welcoming. Plus the very kind and friendly receptionist did his very best to welcome, assist us, and providing an excellent solution for dinner. Takk fyrir!!

Very comfortable stay, near the Airport. The owner and his daughter are extremely friendly. Rooms are clean and quiet.

Clean, warm, and comfortable bed. The shower is deep/hard to get into and slippery. I recommend a no slip mat inside the shower for added safety.

Great airport hotel. Only complaint is that our glass doors on the shower wouldn't close no matter how hard we tried.

Only intended as an overnight stay to catch the early flight the following day. For this sufficient. Room surprisingly large, but very spartan furnished. Bathroom, shower and especially shower head are getting on in years. Conclusion: For one night ok, but and it was already the cheapest accommodation near the airport, way too expensive.

The staff was super friendly, even changing my room so I would have a better view in case the northern lights would make an appearance! I had to be up super early for a flight so in-room coffee makers would be my suggestion. Otherwise staff gave me a complimentary transfer back to the airport, what more could I ask for?!

The Keilir is a very nice family owned Hotel. It is clean, safe, has good heat and fist internet. The breakfast is simple but nice and food is fresh. I have stayed at just about every hotel in Keflavik and for my money Hotel Keilir is the best value. I've spent dozens of nights there and I always look forward to my stay.

Hotel Keiler is lovely, nice rooms and conveniently located in town. Staff is the best part, very friendly and helpful especially when we were in a tough travel situation working through Icelandair. Can’t thank staff enough for the help! One note, you’ll need shampoo, or may need to ask about it on arrival. A grocery store for affordable needs is just 2 min walk though!

We booked this place for its convenience to the airport the next day. We arrived late, and there was no one at the front desk. We received an email with a password, and that's how we got into the room. The room was quite spacious. There's parking available nearby. The facilities are just average, though. The view outside is pretty nice.

Nice hotel located just opposite to the airport, good choice for guests that have an early morning flight as the airport check in and security check might take a while in peak seasons. The room is big and comfortable. Food in the restaurant is fresh and delicious, reasonable price in Iceland and also great services and extra long opening hours for flight guests.

Very convenient - a short, flat walk from the airport. Front desk staffed 24 hrs. Rooms large, clean with great shower. Breakfast included. Staff very helpful and professional. We stayed one night at this hotel in a family apartment.It had 2 double beds and one twin which fit 5 of us perfectly.This is almost like a hostel the check in information was emailed a day before the which was convenient.Can’t comment on staff since we did not interact with anyone.Overall it’s an alright place to stay close to the airport.

I stayed here two nights prior to my flight to Spain. The hotel is very nice with very easy access to the Terminal building. The breakfast was very good and offering a variety of items to suit most tastes. My only criticism is the dinner menu is extremely pricy and limited. Overall a great stay clean and comfortable hotel which I would really recommend.

It’s an airport based hotel so no didn’t expect any frills especially for the price we paid. That said the room was very spacious, bed was clean and comfortable. We didn’t have time for breakfast but was buffet style and seemed fine. Staff were welcoming and helpful. A very good place to stay if you need to catch and early morning flight!

Last minute booking near KEF. No frills, spartan accommodations with spacious rooms. Has a feel of a hostel but you've got your own bath. Restaurants within 800 meters. Will do the job if you have to be close to the airport.

The room was relatively clean, the location was convenient, it was close to the airport, and taxis were easy to get. The app also had some improvements. Overall, it was acceptable; after all, European service is different from Asian service.

Short but nice stay. We just stayed one night as we had a layover. We look for a hotel close to the airport to reduce the cost of transport. This was about 10min from the airport but still cost $47cdn. There was no front desk staff but our paperwork and key we at the front desk waiting for us. We had a nice breakfast before we left back to the airport.

The older gentleman staff member is outstanding and so sweet. I didn’t know what to expect with the breakfast but it was simple yet satisfying. Highly recommend the peppermint tea. Very cute and clean. I would suggest a bit more detoxification of the bottom shower curtains. Also very accommodating and in close proximity to the town as well as airport.

This hotel don't have elevator and no one is there to help you with luggage. It was not a pleasant experience when you have 50lbs bags to carry one flight up.. I gave 3 star because it is very close the international airport. The room were clean but they provide super basic service. Breakfast only served from 8-10am.. take out is not allowed.

Really good value compared to other hotels near the airport. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms well appointed. You have to self check in but everything went smoothly. We liked the common kitchen area plus the rooms have a mini kitchen and fridge.

The unit has a very thin walls. I was awaked by people on the second floor at 4 am. They were getting their stuff together for an hour. Cannot sleep during that time at all.

The kitchen is marvelous! The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable. Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me.
