Hotel Tjarna Keflavik Airport in Keflavik

Very good hotel few minutes drive from the airport.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable, close to the airport minus the noise. The staff was very helpful. Good breakfast with lovely view
Cons: The hotel is located in the second floor with no elevator, so carrying a big bag can be quite an issue. TV signal is very weak to not exists

Hotel with spacious rooms and soap and shampoo in bathroom..my sheets were wrinkly and spotty so i didn't know if they were fresh or not 🤷🏻‍♀️ but for one night or better a couple of hours before flying out from Kef airport it was good enough.
You get a hairdryer asking reception..which is not always there. But when they are friendly. We arrived late and wanted some coffee. So he opened the breakfast room for us as there is no kettle in the rooms.
And breakfast ist interesting..it starts at 8am and we were there at 8:15am and the ham was already gone. No service staff. A do it yourself breakfast room that's more like a spacious kitchen.
And guest also put their dishes away i to the dishwashers themselves. Be prepared to be hands on. But the distance from airport is 10min by car so that's 👍🏼

This place was wonderful. Very clean and cute rooms. The staff were so kind and accommodating. We arrived much earlier than anticipated and they did not have a problem readying our room quicker than they were supposed to. This place might be in the middle of nowhere, but it was my favorite part of Iceland. There is a gorgeous path that runs right along the water with flower fields and cute little houses. We walked this path for miles every day we were here. Absolutely gorgeous!

Very nice hotel! It was clean, quiet, and the rooms had their own bathrooms! Complimentary breakfast was very good, thanks to having pancakes available! Located off the beaten path, but still close to city emmenities.

This is a great hotel (no construction). Room was large, staff are very nice, check in was fast, buffet breakfast was quite nice. While the surrounding area is not overly attractive, for the price and location to the airport (plus really nice rooms and staff) we would recommend it and will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Well lit and plenty of room for a roll away bed if needed. Bathroom was super clean and roomy. Biggest shower of any of the hotels where we stayed in Iceland 🇮🇸.
It is true, there is no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs.
There is a nice common room with microwave, stoves and fridge. The breakfast was a sack lunch type deal, and it was good.
This hotel is a solid choice and I recommend it.
