Excellent stay for one night. My friends and I were unexpectedly upgraded to 2 spacious rooms. We had a nice relaxed meal in the bistro. A taxi was booked for an early flight the hotel is well positioned to get to the airport.

A great experience! The hotel has the perfect location, only ten minutes by car from the airport. The multicultural staff are first class and their friendliness make you feel at home. The distance from Keflavik Airport is quite a dilemma. While it's walkable, you'd be walking through a dark, unlit wilderness at night, which can be scary. I'd advise women, children, and the elderly to avoid it. If you opt for a taxi, it takes less than 5 minutes from the airport but costs around 2000 yen, which feels like a waste. Compared to the rooms I stayed in Lei City, there's nothing particularly outstanding here. The hotel's 3km distance from the airport is quite inconvenient; it's a long walk without a dedicated sidewalk. Only Marriott members can enjoy the airport shuttle service before 8 AM. Had to stay here for a second day after being delayed due to cancellations at the airport. This is a very nice hotel and is quite cheap, although you get what you pay for. We stayed in the newer building. The bathrooms were nice but the linens and towels were dirty and had hair on them. This is a perfectly convenient dormitory style hostel. I had a private bedroom in a suite which shared a toilet and shower with another guest. We had a heavy locked door to the hallway and each of the bedrooms also had a locked door. Stayed here for the last night of our trip in Iceland, excellent location near Keflavik airport with complementary airport drop-off. Managed to catch the northern nights outside the hotel, which was the highlight of our tour which we thought we would miss after 1 week.

The Ladies at the front desk are INCREDIBLE, especially for solo travelers, they are very helpful. The food is FANTASTIC. Perfect place to see the Northern Lights and only 8 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the Blue Lagoon. The roof top hot tube is very nice. We stayed one night at this hotel in a family apartment.It had 2 double beds and one twin which fit 5 of us perfectly.This is almost like a hostel the check in information was emailed a day before the which was convenient.Can’t comment on staff since we did not interact with anyone.Overall it’s an alright place to stay close to the airport.

I stayed here two nights prior to my flight to Spain. The hotel is very nice with very easy access to the Terminal building. The breakfast was very good and offering a variety of items to suit most tastes. My only criticism is the dinner menu is extremely pricy and limited. Overall a great stay clean and comfortable hotel which I would really recommend.

Last minute booking near KEF. No frills, spartan accommodations with spacious rooms. Has a feel of a hostel but you've got your own bath. Restaurants within 800 meters. Will do the job if you have to be close to the airport.

I stayed by chance having been booked here by icelandair for a flight disruption. In the unpleasant event of the snowstorm this place turned the situation in a very pleasant stay; though being simple, it is very much homey and welcoming. Plus the very kind and friendly receptionist did his very best to welcome, assist us, and providing an excellent solution for dinner. Takk fyrir!!

The staff was super friendly, even changing my room so I would have a better view in case the northern lights would make an appearance! I had to be up super early for a flight so in-room coffee makers would be my suggestion. Otherwise staff gave me a complimentary transfer back to the airport, what more could I ask for?!

The Keilir is a very nice family owned Hotel. It is clean, safe, has good heat and fist internet. The breakfast is simple but nice and food is fresh. I have stayed at just about every hotel in Keflavik and for my money Hotel Keilir is the best value. I've spent dozens of nights there and I always look forward to my stay.

Hotel Keiler is lovely, nice rooms and conveniently located in town. Staff is the best part, very friendly and helpful especially when we were in a tough travel situation working through Icelandair. Short but nice stay. We just stayed one night as we had a layover. We look for a hotel close to the airport to reduce the cost of transport. This was about 10min from the airport but still cost $47cdn. There was no front desk staff but our paperwork and key we at the front desk waiting for us. We had a nice breakfast before we left back to the airport.

This hotel don't have elevator and no one is there to help you with luggage. It was not a pleasant experience when you have 50lbs bags to carry one flight up.. We stayed at the Diamond Suites for 3 nights, and it was the best. Breakfast is abundant, rooms are super clean and stylish, the staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located fairly close to the airport (8-minute drive) and only 10 minutes from the Blue Lagoon. Our family had an excellent time.

We were upgraded to the very unique suite area and immediately took advantage of the extra space outside of the room when my husband needed a quick nap. The bathroom was also fun with a heated toilet seat and multiple lighting options for the tub. We also enjoyed in the surround sound so we could listen to music while we relaxed!
