Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - on the Golden Circle in Fludir

Excellent value for money.

It was very competitively priced with a free breakfast, and in a good location.

The room was larger than expected and comfortable. The shower was powerful and the decor was nice. The breakfast was a buffet serving ample options of warm and cold food - which was delicious. The staff were friendly and the hotel was located within walking distance from the main attractions of the town, and from restaurants and a mini mart.

I would certainly visit again.

Kind and thoughtful staff, he put me in the 1st room so I don't need to drag my luggage long way to my hote rooml when I check in late at night.
Hot water from shower was so nice.
Room is comfy with large space to lay down 2 23" luggage and open ir.
Breakfast was fresh made. Coffee is very strong to start a day in Iceland.
Neighborhood is also very convenient with famous restaurants-Mika in walking distance.
Hotel has its own hat bath opens until 9:30.

The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was super cute. The hot tub was open from 3 PM to 9 PM, not super hot but very relaxing. There's a chance to see the Northern Lights while soaking! We told them we were on our honeymoon, and they even prepared a lovely surprise for us. Highly recommend!

Close to a lot of great things with an excellent restaurant and wine bar in walking distance. Many waterfalls and other tourist attractions very close centrally, located. Self service check in. Included breakfast. 2 hot times

Easy parking lot right in front of hotel. Just beware it can get icy and slippery. It is self check in. So you’ll receive an email before arrival with the room number and code for the door so you can head right to the room.
Our room was located on the second floor and was very spacious. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great.
The hotel also has hot tubs outside and provides robes in the room which you can use to head out to the hot tubs.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Fridheimar (tomato farm greenhouse). So you can head over for lunch and enjoy their endless tomato soup. Or you can also head over for dinner at Vinstofa Fridheima which is their beautiful wine bar restaurant greenhouse. It’s very romantic and a great place for dinner.
The hotel provides breakfast in the lobby reception area and it has a great variety of foods. From eggs, bacon, cold cuts and cheese, bread, and different spreads. They also have fresh fruit juices and coffee.
Overall a great place to stay while exploring The Golden Circle!

This place is lovely with two great hot tubs and the rooms have everything you need. The location is amazing - right next to Friðheimar’s Wine Bar and a 10-minute drive to the new lagoon, Laugarás Lagoon. The hotel is largely self-service, but there’s a phone number you can call if you need any assistance and they’re really nice and helpful.

Stayed two nights while touring the Golden Circle. Very quiet. Self check in was smooth and not complicated. There is a self serve drink area and they offer a breakfast. We did not use either so can’t comment.
Room was equipped with a two cup hot pot and small fridge. Bathroom had lots of hooks which is always a plus.
We used the hot tub about 4 in the afternoon after a full day of hiking and enjoyed it. Had it all to ourselves.
