Breakfast was excellent considering it is homestyle.
Only minus is that the hot tub does not have jets and wasnt that warm. It also faced the highway. Sauna was great!
The hosts have sheep, horses and chickens but you can only see the chickens in the summer because the others are out in the fields grazing.
I would return here and recommend this place.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Really appreciated the microwave and hot water provided in the breakfast area in the even. The staff was very nice and helpful and directed us to a couple of not so visited waterfalls to the north. I would stay again.
The breakfast was excellent - more selection than we have experienced in many hotels around the world. We expected very simple toast and cereal and were pleasantly surprised.
It is clear the family does not just want this to be a place for people to crash for the night. From the decor featuring historic photos and paintings, to the sauna and hot tub, and the service provided by the family at breakfast, it is clear they care about creating an excellent experience for their guests.
The electric charging is also a bonus! Very handy if you have rented an EV. It is pay to use - standard rate.
