Didda and Erling are nothing short of amazing! What impressed me is their attention to detail. We slept like babies in those warm beds. We had everything we needed. There are also beautiful horses in the area. I’ll be thinking about this stay for a very long time. Takk 💙❤️🤍

First and foremost, you need to know that this is an extremely clean and well-kept guest house. Right down to the broom in the room. The bedding is of high quality and very comfortable. The temperature is perfect, if you find it too hot you can turn down the radiator directly on the spot. The fridge and microwave provided by the owner and his wife were very useful as our aim was to save our budget for the activities and unique souvenirs that the country has to offer. Food is very expensive in Iceland. That said, we had a great time and a very restful night.

The room was well thought out and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and had a great night's rest 😌. Breakfast was not encluded, but there was breakfast available for a cost.

Beautiful remote location in a quiet and cozy area of farmland. We were immediately met by a handwritten note at the door and a warm greeting from the host.
The rooms were spacious and had a great view of the meadows. There is a tea kettle, various teas and shower gel and shampoo in each room.
We rented the two rooms that they offer with my family for two days and it felt like home. The beds were warm and had all the facilities and amenities necessary.
There is no coffee though but there is another hotel two minutes by walk away from this place that serves coffee, breakfasts and dinners if needed as driving into the city of Selfoss is a bit long and far.
We really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend this spot.

Additional bonuses— there is a Tesla charger there for anyone driving an EV and there are two very friendly cats and several horses that roam around which was awesome.

Quiet and clean in a nice horse ranch setting. The hosts were very nice.

Rooms are very badly organized, the button of the light is at the back of a furniture, you need to twist yourself to go to your bed (if you’re an adult, for child that is ok), the bed is in the path of the door opening, there is no place to hang your clothes… it’s not well tought and optimized for maximize business more than comfort. People seem quite cold, but one great point is the unlimited juices and very good coffee/chocolate machine. So it’s a good place to see aurora borealis / northern lights as there is nothing around, but for the hosting remember that is an old farm not well optimized for confort as it’s quite small and there are not enough bathroom/rooms at rush hours on morning and evening. But it’s just my opinion, maybe somebody will feel differences at this place at another time, or we were in the worse room of this guesthouse.

The location is very nice, perfect for northern lights if the sky is clear. Room was really cozy and comfortable. Our plane landed early in the morning so we got around 4am at the accommodation; host offered us late checkout free of charge
