Excellent location, a couple of minutes walk from town. The rooms are clean and have everything that we needed. There's tea, coffee and a little carton of milk. It's warm and cosy, the bathrooms are clean, with underfloor heating. Kitchen is very well equipped. We are having a very enjoyable trip, thank you. Highly recommend 👌

The room and location are both fine. We stayed for three nights. On the first day, we already told the host that one of the heaters was broken, but he only replied by telling us to turn on the switch, and that was the end of it. Truly terrible.

Very cosy and comfy place in Reykjavik. We stayed here for 2 nights. Self check-in was very easy. The kitchen is well equipped and rooms is very comfy. The location is close to the city Center so you can go walking to all the places like the church, rainbow street. The place is very quiet as well.

Decent guesthouse at convenient location (10 mins walk from city center).

Overall the whole building is very well maintained and clean. The kitchen is quite small for the amount of people that can stay here, but otherwise very well equipped.
There are plenty of showers and toilets, all in great shape!

Our room was super small, no place whatsoever to put our bags. Very inconvenient if you stay longer than 1 night.

The downside of the proximity to the city center is that there can be quite some noise from the city.

I regret writing this comment, but Refurinn Guesthouse Reykjavík has not tried to help us in any way. My situation was exceptional, as I had to cancel my trip to Iceland for reasons beyond my control (the airline went bankrupt). First, I explained the situation to them and asked for a refund, which they refused (beyond the refund policy, I believe we are all people and we can all make an effort to understand each other). Secondly, I asked to change the booking dates, which they also refused. I can’t speak about the rooms, but I can explain how neglected I’ve felt. I feel that at no point did they show any concern or consideration for me as a person.

Near city center, has free car park and few minutes walk away provided you can find an available one. Room is clean, 3 toilets with 2 showers, upstairs 1 toilet with shower. Quite a few rooms sharing the amenities. Full kitchen though a bit small.

The room is open and sunny, and the sanitation is very good. Although the environment is small, it has everything!
The only drawback is that the sound insulation needs to be improved.

But as a homestay, the environment is very good, very close to the city center, parking and shopping are very convenient!
