Excellent service and friendliness from staff, especially the elderly gentleman at reception Very clean rooms and shared bathrooms according to multiple guest comments Convenient location close to the BSI bus terminal and within walking distance to city attractions Fully equipped kitchen and dining area on the second floor with free coffee and tea Good value for money considering Reykjavik’s accommodation prices Some rooms have small sizes and basic furnishings, which may not suit couples seeking more comfort Shared bathroom facilities can be less convenient; one guest noted slow shower drainage and a messy curtain Noise issues reported from hallway footsteps and early-morning coffee machine sounds Occasional maintenance concerns such as broken curtains, smelly fridge, and water with a sulfur smell Some guests experienced confusing door locks and security concerns with shared room access

Close to the BSI main bus station (airport bus drop off) about 10-15min walk. Self check-in is possible if you arrive late in the evening. You will be given the passcodes for entrance to the building and also to the rooms. You just have to contact them.

As for my room, I stayed in a single bed. It is small but all good. It has its own sink which is pretty useful for doing skin care. It also has cabinet and table and its own room heater. Toilet and shower is just outside the room. Every floor I think has its own T&B. Second floor has the kitchen and dining area. You can cook or prepare your own food here. They offer breakfast for 7euros. I didn’t try this tho. Coffee and Tea are free all day.

The closest grocery store is a bit of a walk, about 10-15mins or 950m far. Also, same for the restaurants.

Overall, this is very good value for money. It’s cheap for Iceland standards. I stayed for three nights and had no complaints.

Excellent location. Very near the BSI bus terminal. Getting around the city is easy on foot or by bus.

I think it's great for groups of friends traveling together. For couples, the room might be a bit basic, but the kitchen and laundry facilities are really convenient, making it perfect for a more budget-friendly trip.

1st night in Reykjavík, our room located at after entrance need to go down one floor with twist type staircase which is so torturing for us, due to 3 of us with three 28cm suitcase and also our hand carry bag.

Kitchen and dining area was good and all kitchen utilities is fully equipped, we expected oil is provided but is not

One small problem is the water shower is very slow and the shower curtain is too long and look mess and feel dirty

This hotel offers decent value for money in Iceland. The elderly gentleman at the reception provided excellent service. Although the bathrooms are shared, they were very clean. They also offer a €5 breakfast. The location is superb, within walking distance to both the bus station and city attractions. The only minor drawback is the soundproofing; you can hear footsteps in the hallway. Everything else was great.

The curtains in the room were broken, so we couldn't close it fully. The fridge was little smelly too. The water had a strong sulphur smell. The location was okay.

There's an old man who looks after the place, he's very kind and the room is clean. The price is relatively cheap for Reykjavik, suitable for regular tourists who don't like staying in hostels.

I ordered a room with a bathroom and got a shared bathroom instead.

The place was poor. They had a strange door lock you had to push a small switch on the edge of the door to lock it, with no instructions on how it worked. So another guest entered our room and woke us up. Our room backed up to a shared dining room with a very loud coffee machine that woke us up very early in the morning when other guests used it. The towels were very old and small. It was bad.

The location was the only redeeming quantity. We canceled a future night booked for the end of our trip.

The studio it self has a great potential but it needs a deep cleaning. The studio still had the garbage from the previous guests inside and was full of dust. Also the outside is not very welcoming (it's OK to be in the back of the house but it is not OK to have construction leftovers just outside the door/window). Apart from that the bed was comfy, you have a mini fridge and good wifi connection. You can walk from here to the city center. Parking space just outside the building for free.

Best location near the heart of Reykjavik. The room is very small and the cleanliness not in the good side. However the owner is very friendly and kind.
