Lucky Hotel Bandra in Mumbai

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The photos displayed online were highly misleading and did not reflect the actual condition of the property. The rooms and common areas appeared poorly maintained, and the level of cleanliness and hygiene was far below acceptable standards.

The overall quality of the hotel did not justify the price paid. Basic amenities were not up to expectations, and the experience was uncomfortable for my family. What was advertised online and what was provided in reality were completely different.

I would strongly advise families and travelers to carefully read recent reviews before booking. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

There was a violent incident at Lucky Family Restaurant today where some staff members started physically assaulting a person inside the restaurant. My mother was extremely frightened after witnessing the situation. It felt very unsafe and unprofessional. Based on this experience, we will not be visiting the restaurant again. Overall, it was a very unpleasant and concerning experience.”

We visited this hotel 10 days prior to our stay to personally see the property and book a room. At that time, we were shown a specific room and confirmed our booking based on that.

However, on the day of check-in, we were unexpectedly taken to a completely different building next to Lucky Hotel Bandra called “Gods Gift.” This was not the room or property that had been shown to us earlier. The area felt extremely unsafe, especially considering we were two girls staying alone. Within just a few minutes, there were multiple men around the offices nearby staring and peeping at us, which made us highly uncomfortable.

We returned to the hotel with all our luggage and informed them that this was unacceptable. They then offered us another room on the ground floor which honestly resembled a servant quarter. The same issue continued there as well, with men constantly peeping in, so we refused that room too and requested the original room that had been promised to us.

What made the experience even worse was that this all happened on the day of our friend’s wedding, when we were supposed to be getting ready peacefully instead of dealing with this stressful situation.

The service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would strongly advise others not to book this hotel if you are looking for comfort, safety, or basic professionalism.

Unfortunately, my experience at Lucky Hotel was very disappointing. The service was not up to standard, the rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis, and the bedsheets were extremely dirty. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of money. I hope the management improves their cleanliness and customer service standards.

Dear Travelers, If you are reading this review is to share the worst stay in our whole life. This hotel requires a whole renovation and fine details are not considered on how to tackle the bad smell and sound proof rooms as the slum was next door, traffic noises are huge. They don’t even clean their restaurants properly, everywhere thick spot of dust on the room. They don’t even serve great food. The level of hygiene is null, i saw them washing glasses without detergents. The room was cleaned only with water and no detergents used after complaining. Reception guys are really good but the hotel is not worth to mention as a hotel. The bathroom mirror and the toilet still have the traces of previous guest. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting mumbai.
