Thaj Regency in Chennai

No room service, Behaviour of reception person is not good. Location is good .Rooms are too small . No towel ,no soap , no drinking water ,no intercom .No parking place . Pls check once before booking at this hotel as per ur requirement and other options available on less price as this hotel is charging.

This place is an utter disgrace..the staff and maintenance’s was below average. The beds even had bed bugs on it where they did not even notice or let us know earlier. Rooms were so bad, bathroom doors were broken not even able to close it. Privacy was not even an option for them, the staff just opens the visitors door without knocking. Receptionist was so rude. And the price is so expensive for per person. I dont recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for it.

I had worst experience staying here. Room is too small and filled with cockroaches, bed was damaged,there was leakage in bathroom's basin and toilet spray was laying down of ground. AC water was falling in bathroom and as a guest , when you go will fall down on your head.
Rest of the lackness fulfill by manager there while checking out when I called to office for checking out and person came 15 min late and once I came down then manager(probably from odisa/west Bengal) called my inside office and asked me rudely to check timing and it was 25 min more from my check-out time and asked me reasons for delay. I told it's your management fault since I was calling you to send person but then alao he asked me 500*2= 1000/- INR for 2 room but since I also have stayed there in past and ready to fought with him and start responding in his language then one gentleman came and asked me to leave without paying anything extra.

Overall experience is bad wrt near by cleanest, room size and facilities, manager is illiterate and not holding even basic skills how to talk with guest. Hence, not recommending this to anyone. It's my worst experience ever.

One of the 3rd class hotel I have been visit.. Stay for 24hr I hd change 3 rooms receptionist and staff don't have manners to tlk. No drinking water, no blanket, no towel, hot water to take bath room full of mosquitos.. When I went and inform thm to provide us mosquitos repellent receptionist is telng go n buy as hotel is not providing anythng After giving such a 3rd class service room boys asking for tip thd is also 200.. In my entire life as I m 28 years old this is my first review as ul c hw worst n below poverty this hotel n staff is. 🤮🤮

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was extremely dusty with thick layers of dust all over. The bathroom was moldy, and there was a smoked cigarette in it. The curtains were dirty and moldy. The bed had roaches and bed bugs, plus the room had mosquitoes. They don't have laundry service as advertised. The location is the only good thing about this place, it's close to the beach and there are a lot of good restaurants near.

The room was very compact, just a small window, narrow passage to the bathroom.
The sink did not have a pipe, the taps were old and rusty. There was a big glass window, but it couldn't be opened.
I found it very hard to sleep at night.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

the room ceiling was broken and the fan had sound and no control for the fan and not a clean room, looking like a platform

None of the amenities were provided which the app showed like driking water bottles, daily house keeping etc
