Had a great stay at Rajbari. It is near to the center of Kolkata. Loved the beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. The day was special because of the rain. The property and rooms are in very good condition. With some changes, the look of Rajbari is maintained to give the feeling of staying in the real Rajbari. The behavior of the staff was good. A good place to visit with family.

Rajbari Bawali can be added to the list if you are looking forward to a short, leisure trip.
The place is neatly maintained and for a first time visitor like me, was a wonderful experience. Effort has been made to preserve some of the old world charm and it is amidst a lush green surrounding. The staff is polite and friendly. Rooms could be done better - we had a large room with one fan. Even if the AC is on, in Bengal's humid weather, a fan is a quick relief. Overall, it is a good experience and can be added to a memorable trip!

Not worth the price. Property is good service is average. All rooms do not have refrigerator. There is no phone line in rooms. You cannot call reception or room service or restaurant. When we reached they took more then an hour to get our luggage and while returning we were waiting for our car for eternity.

A must visit place for everyone. One hour drive from city, from Joka another 15km to reach The Rajbari Bawali. This resort offers wide range of facilities. Food is awesome and there is a cultural activity. What attracts the most is ambience of the place and most friendly staffs. Altogether a wonderful experience and one can rejuvenate themselves and cherish the memories!

Went for the lunch package. The property is well maintained and adequately staffed. Although the staff, front desk was way too professional (don't get me wrong, being professional is appreciated) and somehow the charm of the place was lost. This property is not a business hotel and it should exude more warmth.
The food was good, no complaints, but again the service was business like.
I really don't have much to complain and hence the 4 star rating although an initial helping of two pieces of mutton and with no second helping definitely makes the carnivore in me sad.
