Although it was my second time staying at the Bawali Rajbari, it was as magical an experience as my first. Seated in a quaint, remote location in Bengal, the Rajbari offers a taste of history, heritage and culture, all the while equipped with modern facilities to facilitate your stay. Each second, from entry to exit was an amazing experience, much due to the outstanding staff of the Rajbari. Surrounding the Rajbari is also a myriad of temples, offering a connection to religion. All in all, I highly recommend the Rajbari, as an absolutely worth it use of one’s time and money.

Easily accessible. Great effort by the management in maintaining the grandeur and beauty of the zamindari architecture, customs and ambience. Stay was royal. Thalis laid out the most delectable Bengali cuisine way beyond expectations. Staff were humble , polite and helpful. My wife and I are senior citizens who stayed in the premises one night. All awesome. However I have a small suggestion. The Dining hall ( Piano room ) is accessible only after a climb of quite a number of steps. Senior citizens may generally face difficulty in using them . The second issue is bathroom and bathtub faucets. They don’t have hand showers . Hand showers do make bathing simpler .

The place is awesome. Vintage, old world, regal charm. Bengali hospitality at its best. Amazing food, though pricey. Staff is very helpful n hospitable. We stayed a room with the courtyard view n the whole vibe was absolutely royal with 4 poster bed,

Exceptional service! Subhajit in particular, gave personalized service. Our stay was very comfortable, including for my 93 year old aunt who accompanied us. It’s a great weekend getaway from Kolkata - accessible and comfortable. The cultural show was nice but could have been more Bengal-oriented e.g with Baul songs and dances, Rabindra sangeet (modern version), local tribal dances etc. Overall, an exceptionally pleasant experience. Any suggestion is only to make the property achieve greater heights.
