The reception staff was well-trained and professional and any problems such as a billing confusion was resolved effortlessly, and more, the manager suggested me to relax in my room while they sort out the issue; no need to stand at the reception

Costs nothing but left a lasting impression!  The dinner buffet was fine in general but the management could work on the menu and taste better, given the spotless nature of all of their other amenities and services

While we were checking in, there was some confusion with some of our guests who hadn't arrived yet. So, we decided to drop the bags and come back later for checkin

Moreover, in any other city, I would not have this complain but in Kolkata, the locals are typically foodies and the cheapest to the most expensive places in the city cannot compromise on taste

There was some drainage issue in one of the rooms (I had booked several rooms). A call to zero resolved the issue within 10 minutes. The service was ultra-fast for a hotel of this size

They have shown a bold move by placing specially challenged (speech and hearing) individuals at public facing roles such as the butler, the restaurant waiter, etc

There's a marble block in front of a huge mirror. Hence either the marble block should be changed or there should be some other decorative materials in front of the mirror to cover the white marble

We booked a single-bed room for two nights but at check-in the staff informed us that only a twin room was available as the hotel was fully booked. It was a bit confusing how the room allocation was managed

On the second day, we were moved to a single-bed room as originally booked. The bed was quite small, but still acceptable

but as it named it's a 5star so specifically confined for specific range of people. but I went on a company package so that was cool not expensive

We had a great stay at HHI Kolkata. The location is one of the best location at the centre of Kolkata. Room size is good. The staffs are very helpful. I am grateful to the frontdesk for allowing delayed checkout.
