My stay at HHI in the Colony Premium Room was very disappointing. The overall experience did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and service. - The staff was non‑responsive and unhelpful when issues were reported. - Room service was poor, with long delays and lack of proper attention. - The room itself was in bad condition, with broken furniture. - The television was not working, adding to the frustration. For a premium room, I expected far better standards of service and maintenance. The stay was uncomfortable and unsatisfactory, and I hope management takes immediate steps to improve responsiveness, room upkeep and service quality.

It was a great experience. My room number was 224. Pintu Sir and Mousumi Ma'am were so helpful and caring. Thank you for giving the best service.

Staying and experiencing 5star hotel for the first time. Hence don't have any other experience to compare with. But overall the experience was good. Liked Location, service, cleanliness, etc. Mousumi and Pintu came for house keeping. They were very much good at their work. Liked their behavior and coordination.

We had a great stay at HHI Kolkata. The location is one of the best location at the centre of Kolkata. Room size is good. The staffs are very helpful. I am grateful to the frontdesk for allowing delayed checkout.

I stayed one night at this hotel. HHI has a great location and the staff are also courteous. The room that I stayed in was spacious. The complimentary breakfast spread was good. However, the property needs better maintenence and upgrade. The TV in the room has a small screen. The lift doors make a lot of noise while closing. The lobby is small but more seating there would help.

From out side and lobby looks very nice but rooms are completely outdated bathrooms are falling apart.Outdated furniture,floor very dusty .We had seven rooms between 14 of us ,all rooms needs updating.

Rooms are old and not renovated. Paying a lot of money for old crappy room. The menu in the room is not updated. The price shown on the menu does not match with the in-room dining bill / check.

An abode for vegans. Very seldom you find such a tasty retreat at a veg restaurant. The food is amazingly good, the right portion sizes, the temperature and especially the taste. Loved it.
Now coming to the staff, they are extremely courteous and helpful. It has a good liquor collection as well. Valet parking is available which is highly required in that area. Table reservations recommended on weekends.
Food menu that we tried included paneer tikka, spring roll, noodles, Manchurian, lasagna and few other mouth watering dishes. Great going.

Food was mediocre rather.. Given the price
Mocktails are ok...
Kulcha is standard nothing special, and dal casa their special dal is nothing special at all...dhabas at small town like Rishikesh offer a far better taste at 1/10th the price
They should understand dahi kebab should be more thick and have less besan mix and seriously who puts them into an iron pan with cabbages on it?
No salad too!!
And the kumbh kebab was ok but kumbh was slippery could be improved
But yes vegetable lasagne was one of the best I've tasted..worth 5 stars
And please do send your team to amritsar or rishikesh dhabas to learn how to make a Dal
And add to the mocktails some freshly made fruit juice instead of just pouring packet ones...taste needs to improve

I stayed here for a few days in the month of October. The staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly. The lobby was a bit small and could be bigger. The food was good. However, they lack parking and the entry is very very small which is a downside when you look at what the Hotel offers on the inside.

Parking is an issue. They have parking for maximum 5 cars. Otherwise the hotel is good.
