Hotel O2 VIP in Kolkata

Room has no view. dark window. Just like a closed box. food is below average.in breakfast no paid paneer paratha available. service in the restaurant is poor. lack of coordination. no cutlery on restaurant table.everytime we have to ask or go there to collect it.

Good part is i have asked for medicine to bring as my voice was down, he brought it.

Stayed for less than 12 hrs. Paid good price for room. Bathroom completely choked up. Was having bath in swimming pool. Was in Kolkatta to receive an award but the mood was completely spolied. After raising the issue,the manager helped by extending our checkout by 2 hrs. But again while checking out ,when I was getting late for airport,the front desk stopped saying you have not paid the restaurant bill!!! Half an hour back,I had myself paid the bill. He was literally not letting me go!!There was clear lack of commincation and deficiecy in services. Later he confirmed and then asked me to leave .Very bad review obviously. Not expected from this hotel.

Receptionist are very rude, staffs are not good. In the name of delux room booking they were trying to send me lower standard room in another building. Not at-all 3 star or 4 star hotel. 1 star hotels are better than this hotel. Overall i don't recommend anybody to stay in this hotel with this price. Hotels of rs1000 are far better than this o2 vip.

In the name of o2 vip they accommodated us in a lodging facility beside the main buildings. We must be aware and differentiate among-st their three buildings. My wife and i stayed in a deluxe room with breakfast on october 29th, 2024, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Despite booking under the name "o2 vip" we were accommodated in a different building behind the main o2 oxygen structure. The entire area had a strong, unpleasant odor, noticeable from the lift, through the lobby, and into our room, creating a very unwelcoming atmosphere. The ambiance resembled that of a substandard lodging facility, far from the premium experience we had expected. Upon raising our concerns, we were directed to a separate building for reception, where mr. gave us a vague explanation that didn't clarify much. Overall, this stay did not feel like it was worth the money we spent, and i would caution others about this deceptive setup and the poor conditions. Finally, breakfast was served in a separate building and late checkout facility is not available.
