Excellent location & good service. Although next to main road, hotel is quiet & green. Only setback is hotel is a bit rundown.

The location was fantastic. It's right on a central Ubud street, yet it was quiet, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. All the staff were friendly. Even though it seems to be an older building, the room was clean, which shows the staff put a lot of effort into its upkeep. It seems some rooms might get a bit smelly during the rainy season, so ventilation and AC cleanliness would be important.^^ Anyway, I had a good rest and enjoyed my stay.

The bed and pillows had an unpleasant smell, which made sleeping uncomfortable. On the first night, I already complained and requested that the pillows be replaced. However, my complaint was not handled properly, and there was no response or action taken.
I am disappointed with this experience, as cleanliness and prompt service are essential for guest comfort. I hope this matter can be addressed seriously.

The hotel has a beautiful location right in the heart of Ubud, but it's very old, and so is the furniture. The linens aren't clean; they're yellowish and seem poorly laundered. The deluxe room size is fantastic, but the view is nothing special – no garden or anything, just a random leaf next to the window, you can't even tell where it came from.

Wow, this place is truly amazing! The location is perfect for getting anywhere in Ubud. The staff are friendly, the room size is good, the afternoon tea service, breakfast service, and the pool are all excellent. If it suddenly rains, they even lend you an umbrella, and you can get Grab deliveries quickly thanks to the location. The yoga program is also great, and the convenience store across the street, though small, is decent. If you walk towards Ubud Palace, there's a bigger Circle K convenience store with more items. You can also walk to Coco Mart or Pison Ubud, but if it's hot or raining, a Grab will arrive in just 2 minutes. For those expecting brand new, sparkling clean facilities, you might be disappointed. It's an older place, but it's very well-maintained and has all the necessary systems in place.

This hotel was within walking distance of the Royal Palace, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. From the entrance, you wouldn't expect such a spacious property, and it truly felt like a relaxing Ubud-style hotel. It was a great help that I was able to check in early.

The hotel was quite nice and located in a convenient location. Only thing is that we felt it was not very clean. The linens were old and appeared unwashed. Also the towels felt not washed enough. The service was great, food was also decent. Good stay.

I really love it here! If I come to Ubud again, I'd definitely rebook this place, 100%. Great restaurants and massage shops are all within easy reach.

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is on the main market and everything is within reach. For example the mart is just opposite to the hotel. They have a restaurant which has live music and cosy ambience. I stayed in junior suite, its a massive room with big balcony. I even did spa at the hotel which was an add on experience.

It's evident the hotel has a long history, but it's been maintained reasonably well. Due to its downtown location, the buildings are quite close to each other, resulting in poor natural lighting in the rooms. The location is excellent, with the palace and Monkey Forest both within walking distance, and the surrounding area is very convenient. Breakfast is a mix of buffet and à la carte, though choices are limited and the taste is just average. The pool, tucked away at the very back of the property, has a beautiful setting.

We just had the best experience at Bollero. The service and attentiveness is top notch, everyone was so polite and welcoming.
The food and atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for after a long journey from Lombok.
To top it off the Happy Hour special on cocktails is a great deal, with a truly good pour and mix for every drink we had.
We plan to return at least two more times in the last three days we have left here in Ubud.
