I’ve stayed 4 days at d’omah hotel in the beautiful quiet and authentic Tembi village and it’s been an amazing and unforgettable experience. I was mindblown by The unique design. From the wallpapers , the textiles and the vibrant local artworks to the lovely atmosphere in the gardens which sparks curiosity in every corners. The very caring staff booked for me a magic sunrise tour of the biggest Buddhist temple in the world (Borobudur) and served me every morning a delicious breakfast with the a water feature peaceful view.
I genuinely reccomend this authentic Javanese gem .

The rooms were good, The service was nice,the food was really good, especially the sunny side up. But the location is hard to find cause we get there late at night, and there are barely any street lights. Early in the morning you get a "morning call" from the mosque nearby, But they provide earplugs to reduce the noise, so we don't really mind. My kids especially love the swimming pool and food,also there are toiletries in the bathroom so if you need anything but don't bring it, they have it. And yeah, this hotel was nice! Thank you d'Omah! 😄🙏♥️

I can be very very clear here, don't think but do, book, call and make reservations this place has a vibe you want to experience. Beautifully lush gardens several swimming pools, jacuzzi, the art of the art such beauty. The people the service, a soft Indonesia human touch. They will make you feel right at home. The villa's you will adore, the restaurant will give your taste buds a push into the heavens, try the barbequed fish and eat it with your human fork (fingers😜) you will thank me later. Do yourself favor and enjoy the authentic vibe of what Indonesia had to offer. 🌞🙌🏾✨🌶️💥❤️

This was one of the last stops on our train journey to East Java and back to Jakarta. So beautifully and thoughtfully laid out and designed, such meticulous and friendly service (the server actually pulls out and pushes in your chair at breakfast!), our own private and comfortable villa in a lush environment. And all of this located in the beautiful and friendly village of Tembi. Our condolences to the family and friends and staff of Warwick Purser, founder and owner of the hotel, who passed away during our stay.

Wonderful wonderful hotel! One of my favorite stays ever! The space was absolutely stunning and the staff were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. The hotel is a little out of the city, but is only a quick grab ride away! Could not recommend more-- we will certainly be back!

We wanted a local place, knowing there's a mosque right next door! We were woken up the first two mornings at 4:00 AM by the call to prayer, then went back to sleep! Unfortunately, when we returned to the hotel on the third night, I was told there would be noise because of the mosque! In reality, it was a racket all night long, non-stop, for a well-known Muslim holiday! There was no warning when we booked, and the hotelier didn't offer any compensation other than a "Sorry" after I pointed out that a hotel room is for sleeping! To top it all off, we only had hot water one day out of three!!!

Seriously- do stay here! It's beautiful, genuinely Javanese, superbly comfortable, food is excellent, art is everywhere, staff are fantastic- I can't say how much I love this place. I'm bringing my family back. My tip is to fully embrace this experience. Take the massage. Walk in the village. Have the freely offered local herbal health drinks. Read the books. Appreciate the calls to prayer, even if you (like me) are not religious. After a big day out, this is a place to really come home to.

Amazing hotel. We had a separate house with a private pool. The rooms a big and clean. Service is great, very friendly. For breakfast you can choose a ‘package’, there is enough choice. Dinner was good as well, western food and Indonesian food. Great experience.

This hotel and the mission behind it was the perfect fit for my Village Experience group. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. The gardens and pool area were immaculate. The restaurant was delicious and an incredibly serene atmosphere. The staff was amazing. We loved the batik textiles and wallpaper and the gorgeous artisan items for sale. I will be bringing many more groups to this hotel in the future!
