The hotel is in a classic Balinese style. We were one of the few guest that were staying at the hotel, it was very quiet. The restaurant and bar were empty, it seemed they were not used anymore. Apparently a few years ago it was a very nice hotel with a lot of guests, but nowadays its quiet and looks abandoned. The twin room we had, was not that good. The beds were oke but the bathroom was not. There was only little water coming out of the crane in the wash basin. The shower inside the bath only gave lukewarm water, no warm water. There were ants crawling everywhere and we found a dead beetle in the closet.
We discussed this with the staff and they offered us another room, but it was the same problem there so we decided to go to another hotel.. They gave us a refund so the service was good.
Its actually a shame because the Balinese style is very nice so the hotel has a potential to be very nice and atmospheric.

Little bit shabby, but lovely restful gardens..only food available is breakfast. Rooms need some upgrading, but you get a good choice of sizes..

The electric kettle was rusty and not clean, and even a little washing did not remove the rust and dirt, so it was in no condition to be used.
There was no one at the front desk at all times, and even when I rang the bell, no one came right away.

A beautiful ethnic hotel for long years! Love the ornaments, all full with Javanese culture. Love their garden, sooooo greeny and beautiful. There's a swimming pool across the main building. Not too many staff there, but they are friendly. I got a room in second floor. The furniture is still in a good condition, except for the TV which has local channels only. And the WiFi network is so poor. Better to ask to stay in the first floor instead.
