Clean, nice room, nice staff, good breakfast but if you wanna be highly rated hotel, need some local fruits and some warm food every day.

Great hotel. Highly recommend it.
Location was fantastic and close to so many amenities. Staff were friendly and always helpful.
Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided.

Food was so nice. Breakfast had a good selection of freshly cooked options. Dinner was so tasty with a good variety of choice. They had a really good chef.

There was a hot and cold water dispenser which was so handy so you didn't have to keep buying bottled water.

Highly recommend this hotel as this has been my second visit to it. So far so good and I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Nestled right in the heart of the city yet strategically tucked away on a vibrant street near one of Jerusalem's busiest ancient gates, this hotel offers both convenience and charm.
It not only maintains cleanliness standards but also provides delightful buffet breakfast and dinner options.
Even though it’s located in a lively part of town, it remains a safe and welcoming place to stay.
I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jerusalem!

Not Much clean. Not satisfied with room clean.Dust every where. Jug kettle is very dirty. It hasn't been cleaned in a long time. No water bottles Included.. and also very small room and TV didn't work. Bathroom was clean.. breakfast was tasty and excellent.. staff is very friendly.

The Hotel New Capitol is a lovely hotel. Surrounded by shops just three minutes walk from Herod's Gate. Great for those who want to walk and explore the Old City of Jerusalem and its holy sites. All the staff are very professional, friendly and always willing to help.

Ur Joauna, the front desk staff member, was warm and friendly, providing a lot of information and assistance, which made me feel very welcome! The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit!

The staff were the most friendliest I have ever come across in Israel. I have been to Israel four times. The owner or the General Manager of the hotel went out of his way to help me with an issue with a taxi that I had hired.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and cozy, and the food was amazing! Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but I came to the restaurant to have a cool drink. Highly recommend the lemonade with mint (more like a fresh lemon slushie) which felt like a real treat. The food that was being served to the groups coming through looked amazing and I hope to make it back for a meal. A beautiful space with beautiful hosts. Don’t miss it.

My wife and I spent a little over a week at the Jerusalem Hotel, and it was absolutely perfect! The hotel itself is owned and managed by a married couple, who are passionate about Jerusalem, and have imbued their hotel with the city’s rich history (for example, each room is dedicated to an influential woman who helped shape Jerusalem into the city you see today). It is wonderfully put together and picturesque. Also, the restaurant that is a part of the hotel has some of the best food we had while in Jerusalem (and we ate a lot of food). As for the staff, they were incredibly helpful and friendly. They each had great suggestions for where to go, what to eat, etc. All in all, we could not imagine having a better experience. We are recommending it to all of our friends who want to visit Jerusalem, and we ourselves hope to return one day.

An authentic home away from home hotel, with thematic rooms representing different times and personalities connected to Jerusalem. Excellent restaurant with diverse menu, for a large part presenting spécial food of the different population groups in Old Jerusalem. Highly recommended, 8 minutes walk from Damascus gate.
