But obviously this never stopped Trip from sending this stupid email asking about experience.
The hotel room is a bit old, but it was comfortable enough for my purpose since I came to visit Masjidil Aqsa, not for a staycation. One charming surprise was the cute and fluffy hotel cat that hangs around the lobby — such a sweet, calming presence after a long day of walking.
The staff were helpful and the atmosphere welcoming.
A good choice if you prioritize proximity to Masjidil Aqsa and a practical, homey place to rest.
The breakfast buffet was okay, basic necessities but nothing fancy.
Then a guy at the front desk tried to rip me off after I tried to add on breakfast for some friends that we were traveling with! After some negotiating he offered to add on breakfast for half the price he was originally quoting me. It was too much so they decided to just not get breakfast there. Was not impressed.
The location was okay. It was close enough to walk to the old city and other biblical sites but it was still a little bit of a walk.
