B&B Crispino in Belvedere Marittimo

On our way back from Sicily, we stopped in Calabria at Belvedere Marittimo at this B&B, which I must say was beautiful.
Carla and Tonino, the owners, are truly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very nice, with TVs, air conditioning, and minibars, and are always clean.
In the morning, breakfast features warm pastries and fresh croissants. The sea? Not only can you see it from the window, it's just a few steps away, and it's truly clean and crystal clear. In short, if you're passing through and want to spend a fair amount, I highly recommend it!

My wife and I spent three nights at this B&B. The privacy and independence afforded us, combined with its convenient location (a very quiet area yet just five minutes from the sea), made for a wonderful stay. Added to this was the extraordinarily rich and varied breakfast served every morning by the friendly and professional staff, the excellent hospitality of the owners, always ready to offer advice and suggestions, the clean room, excellent shower, and comfortable bed. A truly excellent experience: we highly recommend it!

The first time was way back in 1984/85 it was called Mustazzo, then after a long period I returned in 2007 already B.,B. Ortensia, and after 10 years I return at the end of August 2017, little has changed: air conditioning in the room with a perfectly functioning mini bar, of course you have to know how to use the remote control to set the desired temperature otherwise it is useless to turn on the air conditioning, the small room? I don't have to live there forever and in any case it is in small spaces that you most appreciate the comfort of your home - narrow bathroom and no bidet? Have you ever been to France? Or in nearby Switzerland? Or in the acclaimed United Kingdom? Here then you will find The B.B. Ortensia is truly wonderful because it truly deserves its 5 stars. The owners, Carla and Tonino, offer their guests all their patience and remember that you are paying for a stay practically on the seafront. There are no other facilities in the area that offer so much at such a low price, unless they are built on the railway or directly on the beach. I am convinced that you cannot ask for MORE from two extremely kind people who are truly capable of making you feel the scents of the Mediterranean, the sound of the waves of the nearby sea and the happiness every morning of being able to meet them again with their smile.
