We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea). I can recommend La Taverna!

This was an awesome place, and the view was great. the only thing was it has almost 50 steps down to the residence.

Nice bungalows. The greenery is well maintained. Ok - the pool. On the sea side it is very scenic. Disorganized. Restaurant hours for breakfast start too late. Pool bar at inconvenient hours and closed for lunch. Far from the sea!

Very nice structure in a wonderful location, Capo Vaticano is truly a magnificent place! The problem lies in the management, the managers don't even deign to greet you and are always ready to reproach you at the first opportunity. Shall we talk about housing? We stayed in the villas facing the pool, we were told that the decor is a little more dated than the apartments above but we didn't believe up...

Very good in all respects. The only flaw, for me that I use a wheelchair, the outdoor spaces have slopes with very steep slopes which somewhat affect safety and autonomy.

I stayed at the hotel from September 10th to 17th...the beach and sea were enchanting and fabulous. The hotel was well-served with an excellent shuttle service to the beach and station. The service and organization...left a little to be desired...little attention to customers... For example, a Calabrian evening with excellent food, but no after-dinner entertainment and a dull evening. The next day...

Room and rest of the building was absolutely spotless clean. Spacious room with big bed, TV, wardrobe, AC, small dining area and a bathroom and fridge. Romy picked us up from the train station and took us back when we left. She also supplied a huge breakfast for us free of charge (and catered to our vegan diet). Friendliness and commitment are evident, but sometimes they're not enough. Our animal friends are great, and I find the cost of their stay excellent. Pizzo town lovely A local resort type hotel with a pool. We were just overnighting so can’t comment on the facilities, but could have been a bit cleaner and found the beds a bit hard. Pizzo town was lovely though!

Aether Suites was a home away from home. It was comfortable, the breakfast was simple but great just like at home. Our room was just lovely, it had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and beach and I would spend time just sitting there in the morning. Thrilled with our stay at Aether Suites. Our room was perfect for our family of four and Giuseppe was a fantastic host from check in, to our breakfast in the morning and for accomodating our check out and bags at check out time. Our only regret is not being there longer. We will absolutely be back!!

We had a great week staying at Il residenza duomo. The staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was tasty and the property is in an excellent location for exploring the town, port and beaches.

A nicely redecorated hotel in the centre of Reggio. Rooms are small and all without balconies, but cosy enough. The breakfast room is rather blend, but you can get a variety of homemade pastries that and jams that are exquisite. The location is perfect as well.

The hot tub in the room was a real treat, with lighting and music available, as well as different kinds of jets. The room was in an old French style, with even the AC being hidden behind a "picture" to make it look more authentic. The area was quiet, despite being in front of the train station. This is the most ideal place to rest when you are traveling through Calabria. Even arriving in middle of the night, you are welcomed with a big smile. Rooms are perfect, breakfast is what you expect in Italy - and they have great coffee.

All toiletries stocked up throughout the day. I've no idea what the gentlemans name was who ran the place. But he was so pleasant and make a great effort with his English. The location of the property was ideal for proximity to shops and eateries. Very walkable. It’s was very hot when we were there so the air conditioning in the room was very welcoming when returning from the day out.

This B&B is located in the center of Crotone and is ideal for business purposes, although the beach isn't far away. Super friendly host with perfect English that even kept a parking space reserved for us near the entrance despite the fact that we've made it into Reggio very late. Room was super clean with AC and all other conveniences. Everything that is great about the Reggio was easily reachable by foot.

Simple but pleasant accommodation, very close to the Sanctuary of St. Francis, served by Mrs. Franca, who prepared a very Italian breakfast, cornetto, ciambelone, and excellent coffee. The room was spotless and had a comfortable bathroom. If you're passing through and have a car, there's the advantage of parking.

I went to visit Calabria and spent 2 days in Paola. I choose this B&B because of the price and good breakfast. I had a very good time there, my room was super comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located: close to the old town and the beach, and a five-minute walk from a large supermarket. The train station is a 20-minute walk away. Although the common areas of the hotel need renovation, my room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. I felt very comfortable.

The hotel is good, has great location, near the sea and city center. The breakfast was sufficient. The staff was hospital. Wi-fi was not so good in our room, sometimes the signal disappeared. The furniture and facilities are not new.

Nice room, dreadful building and area Although the room was good and the bathroom renovated, the B&B is in the most awful street and in a derelict old building. Therefor I downgraded the review. I nearly turned around to go back to the station when I saw the building. It is also very hard to find, no notice on which floor it is located.

Beautiful B&B with a spectacular view of Scilla and the sea. The location is great. Close to restaurants cafes, bar, and a short walk to the beautiful blue beach. The host was amazing and took great care of any of our needs. Scilla is the most amazing place in Calabria and this is the perfect B&B to enjoy it

We spent two days at this B&B. Mr. Demetrio welcomed us with great hospitality, encouraged us to visit various places, and, above all, was very helpful. The triple room was cozy and comfortable, also suitable for children. Definitely recommended.

We stayed at the B&B Chianalea during the central week of June and we fell in love with it. I had a wonderful stay in B&B Kalavria. The room was comfortable, nice and very clean. The communication with the hotel was very easy, I got all information that I needed. The distance to the city center is about 10 min. walk, to the central station about 15 min. and to the ferry terminal about 25 min. I strongly recommend to stay in B&B Kalavria If you plan to travel to Reggio Calabria. ☺️

What a fantastic place to stay in this beautiful town. Our hosts were so welcoming and generous. Having a patio was a bonus. Would stay here again for sure. Reggio is worth the visit at Christmas for sure.

A really nice B&B in a safe area of town. It’s about 4 streets back and only 2 minutes to Castello Aragonese. On arrival myself and another couple had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to arrive after sending them a WhatsApp message. Inside was clean fresh and the staff were friendly. My room was fairly big but only 3 hangers for your clothes. There was a TV as well as a couple of bedside tables...

For breakfast, they asked us if we wanted a traditional one or if we should pay an extra 5 euros per person for a better one. Otherwise, the traditional one was a single croissant 😕

Great location within walking distance to everything, just park your car and walk. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful and can be customized to your preference. Domenico and Erma were most gracious and wonderful hosts. We will definitely stay again when visiting Reggio. ❤️
