The hotel is beautiful, nice, clean, with a beautiful area. The staff is helpful and friendly. Their bus service is great! If you want to go to the beach, just write it down and they will bring you there, as well as to the train station! We went to visit Tropea but were relying on Public Transport to move around; considering that, the location was not SUPER IDEAL, but the neighborhood is quiet and well lit so walking was not an issue at all and it made the rest AMAZING! My general experience was around or a bit below 4* - the hotel location is okay (close to the centre and to the railway station, but no nice views around), old but clean furniture, comfortable beds with uncomfortable pillows. Out of way place up in the mountains near Sila NP. Very basis accommodation but decent. Tried to hike the Giants of the Sila but was closed. Had supper at the Trattoria which was very tasty! Service was good. Checking out was somewhat bumpy as the Mom has no English and couldn’t get our Visas to work so had to pay cash…our cards worked fine rest of the day.
