Gave it four stars taking into consideration the local offer in general. Anyway, if you come to this place, you do it for the beach, the sun and the relaxation mainly, not for the "room service", right?! :)

Actually very nice hotel. Clean, cosy, kind service, EXCELLENT food, private beach, quite big pool. Rooms maybe not large but it’s very ok. Only one bad thing is location, but if you don’t want to do shopping often it’s not a problem.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights because we were attending a local wedding. We haven't spent that much time in the hotel itself and also, it was beginning of October already. Hotel was super clean. Definitely an older property but well cared for. Evening desk clerk spoke english very well. Bed was so hard it was painfully uncomfortable. Heard people fighting and doors slamming, not the hotels fault but was not very sound proof. The taxi option in the morning was not very flexible, although I saw the front desk guy give a ride to 2 people while we waited for a taxi. Unsure...

Great hotel. Excellent cuisine, I recommend half board. It has a shuttle service to the grotticelle beach which is also within walking distance. Great location for all beaches. It also has a small swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas. Very clean.

We stayed in this hotel with two friends, we took advantage of the spa program and the swimming pool, I'll start by saying that we were only here for one day but we can say that it was all very pleasant but our best compliments go to the kitchen staff and above all to the maitre d' Mr. MARIO for his education, kindness and above all for how well he carries out his job. Very friendly staff, lovely garden and pool. Rooms are a bit small and dated, but we did have a great view of the sea from the window and balcony. Great value for money, with room and board, but simplistic menu.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean and functional. However the restaurant was only really catering for set meals. The staff were all great except for the manager who was very abrupt, blunt and not genuine. Franco in the restaurant could not do enough for his customers as did Mungi for the entertainment he helped provide every night. The pool and outdoor facilities were fab.

Located a few minutes from the center of Tropea and 10 'from the beaches, it offers studios equipped with all comforts. Excellent value for money. The only drawback there is no liquid soap (perhaps due to anti-COVID rules). Staff very kind and helpful.

We stayed in a studio apartment with attention to the smallest details. Impeccable cleanliness. Quiet area a step away from the center of Tropea. Kitchenette on the balcony, complete with everything, comfortable and sea view. Just spectacular!

My room was generaly ok, but I have some reservations. For example in apartment with kitchen, bathroom, marital room and main room the air conditioner is located in marital room. This is causing problems: one room is arctic cold, the other hot. Another minus is kitchen created for one person use and lack of some equipmemt (for example wine glasses). Last minus is paid toilet on the beach (0,5€).

Quiet hotel for holidays escape. Good service and beach with clear water. It's located on the hill, so there are several levels. From upper level you can be delivered to beach on golf car, departure every hour. Hotels beach is not too big, but comfortable. Every room has free personal umbrella and 2 sunbeds at the beach. All customers can use kayaks 30 minutes per day for free. No shampoo and soap...

A nice hotel with spartanly furnished rooms. It's far from everything and difficult to reach by any means of transport. Not recommended for those with limited mobility. There's little to do nearby, and the beach is quite a steep descent. It's reasonable and plentiful. The pool is small with a few sunbeds. The staff is helpful.

I went with a friend, first holiday in Italy, the hotel is an hour transfer from the airport so we booked it through the hotel, excellent service, comfy Mercedes so no complaints. A good night A very pleasant stay. Shower is hot, bed is firm, area is safe and quiet, front desk very helpful. Food is plentiful and good. It's a bit of a way to town centre but that didn't affect us.

Very plwasant place, slightly removed from the touristc spots with pleasant service. One star less for the need of a car to get basically anywhere and the facilities that still are mostly camping focused.

Very nice property with spacious, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. The wifi is also quite good. It's a little out of the way but great if your looking for something near the ocean and with outdoor space.

Donatella was awesome! The place was very nice, and the food was pretty good as well. The couple making the food were very kind and eager to please. We would stay there again in a heart beat! The only down side is that it was a challenge to get there from the highway (our GPS and the road system did not see eye to eye).

the location is really wonderful! It's on the beach of capo Vaticano and during all the day you have a wonderful view. The service is quite fast. Food is really good but the ice-cream, specially CANOA it's really AWESOME! I've never tried something like that, everyone must try it!

We just spent 6 nights at the Lions Hotel and would definitely come back. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and speak English. The breakfast and dinners were very good and they cater for Gluten Free. The location is perfect with the beach right across the road and a pool to enjoy as well. Only a short 10 minute walk into Falerna Marina.

A great hotel for visiting Falerna Marina and the local area. Travelling with my two kids, 5 and 2, the hotel was very accommodating for us. The staff are super friendly. Breakfast has plenty of options and the pastries are great. Quiet at night for a great sleep.

Very friendly staff, they kept our 'non refundable' booking from July 2020 valid until April 2023. Rooms are very clean, with minibar and we had a sea view terrace. The lift reaches until the 3rd floor, access to 4th floor by stairs only, which was not a problem for us. Breakfast could improve, little items available and nothing fresh.

The hotel was very central and the staff were very friendly. The bathroom was modern. We paid an additional €5 for breakfast which was very good value.

Staying there a couple of nights is fine. You certainly will not find exclusivity. Modest rooms with good cleaning. In my room, the shower lacked a support for personal care products. When you use the shower, the entire floor gets wet due to the lack of a door / window barrier or curtain. A little too vintage structure.

I had lunch on August 15th with some friends at the hotel restaurant. Very good lunch and excellent value for money. Very kind staff: due to my allergy problems they prepared a first course especially for me. We will definitely be back :)
