Absolutely wonderful stay! The resort is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Strait of Messina, beautiful gardens, and a real sense of peace. Fantastic experience that was recommended to us by Elena during our visit to Venice. The secluded beach was serene and the staff friendly and accommodating. There is a Michelin rated restaurant on the premises. No need to go anywhere else. We stayed, relaxed and were pampered by the staff.

We stayed at Praia this past week as travelers from the US. There are not many (if any) travelers from the US visiting this property, which makes it feel more authentic to the area but more difficult to navigate if you’re not comfortable with using translation apps. We stayed at this beautiful resort for five days in July. We loved the architecture and style of the resort. If you appreciate something special, this is the place for you. A truly strange five-star hotel. Nice, right on the sea or rather on the state road and then the sea. A little lost in nowhere. For short stays I recommend it. What is terrible, but not their fault, are the constant fires they light and therefore in the evening the air is unbreathable, not to mention toxic. This hotel is completely over rated! The food is horrible and the free alcohol is watered down. The pools are not heated including the hot tubs. Everyone smokes everywhere. This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm. A nice hotel with spartanly furnished rooms. It's far from everything and difficult to reach by any means of transport. Not recommended for those with limited mobility. There's little to do nearby, and the beach is quite a steep descent. It's reasonable and plentiful. The pool is small with a few sunbeds. The staff is helpful.

Having never been to Calabria, we had open minds. Recommended by our travel agent, Hotel Savant suited our needs perfectly. Saverio (Sav) and brother Antonio (ant) provided friendly, inclusive and responsive hospitality. In fact, Saverio was our driver and tour guide one day. Sure, the decor is dated but it’s central and clean. If your budget doesn’t permit 5 stars, I would recommend.

Pros: perfect for couples. Parking available. Amazing view. Private and quiet. Attentive staff. Cons: the building and the common areas need maintenance and some love. The AC in our room did not work properly. They only give you one keycard, so the AC turns on when you come in to the room. Not ideal after spending the day at the beach or in town.

The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the Parghelia train station/approximately €1 train ride to Tropea. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, but be close to Tropea this is a good option. We often didn’t see a need to leave the resort as the food was great, amenities were decent, and staff is friendly (especially the restaurant staff).

Oasis of peace Beautiful, quiet retreat just a short 5 min taxi ride into bustling Tropea. We had 3 rooms but some were much smaller. The resort is a retreat for peace. But note: no store on site, limited access to food only during meal times & the beach is a climb down, very small & no service only chairs & umbrellas. Still a great spot. Pool is beautiful!

The resort is extremely well maintained and clean. My fiancé and I had a good 5 night stay at this hotel. It has lovely views, two pools, and is in an okay location (although a steep hill if walking). Unfortunately it’s important to note that it’s nowhere near a 4* hotel. We stayed in a suite that had a whole host of issues. The building it was in had dirty toilets and abandoned restaurants, the air conditioning didn’t work properly and kept cutting...

The location of the hotel is far from the center, so it is not very convenient and it is necessary to have transport. It is a very well-kept, clean 4-star hotel and the staff is particularly kind and attentive. However, the inconvenience that occurred upon my arrival was resolved only after 24 hours: there was no hot water due to a fault. The structure is really beautiful, it is located on a hill 5 minutes from the center of Soverato, surrounded by greenery... breathtaking views, absolute tranquility. In my opinion it is the best location in Soverato. We were also lucky because we stayed there on a week when the hotel was not particularly busy. This hotel is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. When we arrived by train the hotel asked if we wanted a taxi but we were unsure when we were going to arrive so we told them we would just grab one ourselves when we arrived well there are not taxis available at all! We called the hotel and they told us it would be 40 min before they could come and get us so we decided to walk the mile to the resort...

I would like to point out that the only reason why I don't give this resort four bullets is because of the poor quality of food. Breakfast not really up to the expectations and lunch to forget. Acceptable dinner but you cannot starve until evening! The sea is magnificent, the pool and the spa are nice and enjoyable. The service is good and the kindness of the people working in this resort is a total...

For families foreigners is not that good, the service is mainly for Italian and they don’t really give you the experience that you deserve for the value that you pay

Overall, we had a good experience here. One problem was the shower size. It was very tiny. Maybe 3 ft by 3 ft. Also, it's not a flat walk to the city center. Expect to walk up and down the hill. We're in good physical shape so the walk was not bad at all, but if you need assistance or a wheel chair, this could be a problem.

Good location, a 3 minute walk to downtown. The included parking is convenient since it is otherwise difficult to park in the area. Watch out for traffic if walking out of the property, specially with children, since it is near a busy intersection with no walkway. Property has a restaurant and a nice swimming pool. Good view of downtown from the top. Staff was attentive and helpfull.

Hotel Tropis is great! It is clean and the rooms.are comfortable. 4 minute walk to train station. Short walk to city centre and the beach. The pool is great and relaxing environment. The breakfast has everything, and the staff is very nice. Absolutely loved, I would definitely return.

We were there just to eat Dinner..The place is really clean and the Restaurant is elegant..The staff was nice and friendly..The food was also good ..Not much option to choose ..But with our experience we loved it

Very competent staff, special mention for the waiters. Excellent food both meat and fish. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Clean pool even in winter. Sorry not to have tried the Spa. For families and young people it is an ideal place! I will return

I had a great time celebrating the end of the year in this facility, very kind and professional waiters with that smile that makes you feel immediately at ease.....the food was good both the dinner and the lunch on the first of the year....room cleaning was excellent.....and nothing was missing, there is also a needle and thread kit for emergencies.......a very pleasant stay!

Let's start by saying that I go to many hotels, especially in Calabria and that have nothing of 4 stars ... the Tyrrenian Park Hotel on the other hand does!!! Let's go by points since I've read absurd reviews ... Surroundings: You need a car to see the surrounding villages or to go out in the evening, but on foot you can reach the primary things such as supermarkets, bars, rotisserie and huge Chinese...

We flew to Italy from the US for a wedding. The hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff we interacted with were very welcoming and in tune with our needs and ensured we had anything we could want. The food and desserts were amazing. I highly recommend this fabulous place.

Very good views, and nice beach. The staff is not good, the animation team when they know that you don't speak Italian They'll fully ignore you. This hotel is more for Italians, not for other tourists. The food in the hotel IM VERY DISAPPOINTED, that's not real Italian food. The real Italian food is outside from the hotel. The theatre is fun even tho I don't know any Italian, they use the gestures...

Very nice hotel, it offers great views, the sunset from the main pool area is one of the best I have seen. The food is excellent, wide variety and all of it is of a very good quality. All inclusive covers all you really need, drinks included. On the downside, the area is huge and you have to walk a lot (unless you are willing to wait for the provided train which is not always available). I can confirm...

What i like: View of the sea. Food. atmosphere. an outdoor lounge. kind people. What I don't like: the internet is only available near the reception. If you sit anywhere outside eventually (or not) one or more flies will appear and annoy you.

Excellent four star resort, with a wonderful view on the bay of Santa Maria. The staff is well trained, although too few for such big resort. The strongest point of the resort is the restaurant; the weakest point is the beach which is very narrow. The waters are super clean and full of fish, the kids can find some entertainment although limited by the amount of resources available. Every week there...

The stay was great, the rooms were basic in structure. Electrical ports where not at reach and one would have to leave a device on a chair or on the floor. some windows where not closing safely and easily accessible from passage ways. Housekeeping was good. B'fast lunch and dinner was also good. However more of italian speciality dessert would have been more desired. The waiters were excellent, polite...

We had a great experience a T Hotel Lamezia. We wanted to stay close th the airport, and this was a great choice! Front desk staff very helpful! Chamber maids Rosa & Marida were excellent. They accommodated all our needs and requests...super nice ladies! The food at the restaurant was top notch! The hotel manager, Caterina was wonderful! Professional and very helpful with recommendations!
