What an amazing stay! Besides the incredible facilities, great location, stunning rooms (we got a superior with jacuzzi), the staff was extremely accomodating to all of our needs

From the moment you are greeted by the friendly reception desk, prepare for a truly enjoyable and memorable vacation at the Rocca Nettuno resort

Unfortunately the hotel is sandwiched between two other hotels which have loud sound systems that are audible from the pool! The hotel is very remote and there aren't any bars or restaurants in walking distance (other than the bar of the hotel next door which we visited for lunch one day)

We spent a week in a superior room here end of September. The hotel garden is wonderful, very well kept, clean. The room was spacious, bathroom great, everything clean. Enough place to store clothes

Beautiful location with private beach. The beach is a little coarse and there are rocks in the ocean, but it was really nice. The pool and pool deck were great. Lunch and dinner menus were mediocre

Daily 2 botter of water in room. The pool area is clean, enough sunbeds. Breakfast and dinner superb, coffee the best. Especially, Gudrun, Antionio and the girls making the pancakes in the morning

Great property for families! Staff and hotel is very accommodating. Baby bathtubs, bibs, cutlery, cups, etc. could you more seating around the pool as it was often slim pickings

Beautiful location, so idyllic and peaceful. Close to Tropea for shopping and adventures but ideal to also just enjoy the beach and relax.

My husband and i stayed for 7 nights and we absolutely loved everything anout this place. spectacular views from our sea view room. the refreshing beach at Parghelia. good breakfast and dinner was great too

The village is situated near the beach; it is really tidy and amazing! The village is nice and well done! There is also a pool. The food and the service are not the best! The village is a little too expensive!

This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm. From the elevator down to the beach, to the tropical plants, to the hand paintings to the live music at night

Excellent breakfast & extremely accommodating staff

The hotel is perfectly placed on the beach and has all the amenities you would wish for: two pools, access to the beach, great fresh food. The animation/entertainment team are truly wonderful

Great stay Great location. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had something for everyone. Pools were nice. Bigger pool needs bigger loungers though. Right on beach . Staff were great.

They are dedicated to making sure everyone has the best vacation possible. From morning stretching on the beach, to pool games, right through to the evening entertainment

There is always a pasta dish and a dish with fish or meat at the evening buffet, as well as a dessert and fruit to choose from. At lunchtime you can order pizza or salad. The hotel has two very nice pools

The Villaggio Baia D’ercole is a nice place to spend a vacation with kids. Starting from its location on the beach, the availability of 2 pools, the amazing sunset panorama to the tasty local food buffet

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious although the bed was quite firm. The AC struggled but it was very hot outside! The beach area was great…chairs and umbrellas to rent

The rooms are quite nice, although would say the sound isolation isn't the best. Huge shout-out to restaurant waiter Minteh. This person showed much professionalism in his field and was a fun a person to talk to

Ideal place for someone who doesn't like to be in the pathway of tourists or doesn't like too much noise from cars driving by. The bar/lounge area was also great

Only one restaurant with limited options that barely change. they should be ashamed trying to pass this off as italian cuisine. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else. Also the property has no beach

the picture is very decieving. you cant swim in those coves, its just rocks with a bit of water. you can go left or right to try an swim but this stretch of beach is all rocks regardless

Parking is tight, and the road to get there is “slightly” a one lane that supports 2 directional cars, all part of the adventure…. Go slow and remember you are in Italy! We had one snafu which was expensive

Only Negative Point: The Prices in the Pool Bar and Restaurant are over the Top 9€ for a 0,3 Beer and 13€ for a Spritz do not reflect the Quality. But it is always quite full so it seems to be ok for many

Just book it from reception the day before. The hotel is on the hill (and the whole town is stairs/hills) so get ready for some fitness. It’s only 7 min walk and you’re in the heart of old beautiful Tropea

Hotel Tropis is great! It is clean and the rooms. 4 minute walk to train station. Short walk to city centre and the beach. The pool is great and relaxing environment

We stayed in a room with a sea view, a gorgeous view. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but acceptable. The only thing is that there was no free water in the room

Big rooms and nice pool I would have given 5 stars but our AC was broken... Hotel is on a hill so expect to walk a decent amount into town. The shuttle is $30 to the beach.

Watch out for traffic if walking out of the property, specially with children, since it is near a busy intersection with no walkway. Property has a restaurant and a nice swimming pool. Good view of downtown from the top

Very nice hotel, it offers great views, the sunset from the main pool area is one of the best I have seen. The food is excellent, wide variety and all of it is of a very good quality

I can confirm there are jellyfish in the sea as I have got stung by one myself. You might want to be careful if you are allergic or more vulnerable to a jellyfish sting

The strongest point of the resort is the restaurant; the weakest point is the beach which is very narrow

Very good views, and nice beach. The staff is not good, the animation team when they know that you don't speak Italian They'll fully ignore you. This hotel is more for Italians, not for other tourists

All inclusive covers all you really need, drinks included. On the downside, the area is huge and you have to walk a lot (unless you are willing to wait for the provided train which is not always available)

Excellent four star resort, with a wonderful view on the bay of Santa Maria. The staff is well trained, although too few for such big resort

Great Facility but needs some maintenance. Door handles are falling off AC leaking badly Walls are thin Says no smoking but had to close balcony door because the rude neighbor was a chain smoker

Huge lounge bar and restaurant. However the hotel is located near a road, away from everything… you can’t even walk to the beach for example. They do have a shuttle service to and from it

Our Deluxe room was of a reasonable size, perfectly clean, offered a Sea view, which can better be described as "you can see some water behind the roof of the neighbouring building", but it was nice anyway

The restaurant upstairs also lived up to expectations, with a better Sea view from the top and great meals. Highly recommended, will return if we go in the region again

Within waking distance to all resturaunts and steps from lungomare. The roof top breakfast was incredible and perfect way to start the day. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The Jr suite is spacious and bright

Although slightly out of the city center, the hotel is very well located near a train / metro station, which allows you to easily reach the other part of the city and the suburbs

It was a nice stay, everyone was friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and very nice! We liked that it was walking distance to shops and restaurants, which were really good ! We thought the beach was accessible by walking , so we went through this area off the parking lot but quickly figured it was not part of the resort

You can book a shuttle to take you there and back though and it is definitely worth seeing! The food was good, but we did go off the resort for authentic Calabrian food which was amazing! There wasn’t much to do on the resort , especially during off season when it’s a little colder

The pool area is beautiful but we didn’t get to use it much unfortunately, as it was cold. You can also take the shuttle down town but it is an easy 10 minute walk

The bathroom had terrible ventilation and smelt like stale water. We could also hear the people above us moving around so loudly and when we asked to move, the lady said she’d organise it tomorrow and never did

She was so welcoming and helpful! The vibe of the property is chill and relaxing 😌 We enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the pool (they grow their own vegetables!) and a great dinner at the restaurant on site

You can relax by the pool or head to Tropea beach, which is just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of options, many of them homemade

Restaurant serves great food, excellent breakfast. Dinner is open to locals and good value with an excellent reputation. Our room was in the main building with balcony views of the pool and ocean
