A lovely little hotel with fantastic staff. All were super friendly & efficient,from the people who worked on reception, those who worked in the bar/ restaurant at breakfast and the cleaners. Thanks too to the guy who drove the complimentary mini bus into Tropea. He saw I struggled with the step and as if by magic produced a little foot stool to help me. Let me start with Hotel Piccolo’s good points. The food, which as we all know is a very important part of a holiday was very good. The fish and pasta were the best I have eaten in any Italian hotel that I have stayed. Portions were on the small side for main course and sweet, twice in the week we were served melon as a sweet. Different varieties of melon but still melon !! Pasta courses were of a good...

This small hotel was so nice, clean and the service was great. Hotel room was good size and the roofteracce was a great place to take sun and eat breakfast. Every day there was transfer to the beach and Tropea Old town, severall times a day.

We had the most wonderful stay att Hotel Residence Piccolo! Everything was top notch. Excellent, super friendly and very service minded staff that made everything possible to make our stay the best. Spacious room cleaned spotless everyday, beautiful surroundings, an amazing terrace where a generous and tasty breakfast was served and delicious food in the restaurant. A shuttle bus takes you to the beach...

lovely family run hotel! spotlessly clean. rooms were cleaned really well every day. stunning views from the roof terrace to Tropea and the sea. no hidden costs, almost everything was included in the price. sun loungers on the beach, dinner, beach towels, bus transfers to Tropea and the beach, breakfast, shower room on the day of departure. all free. ALL the staff were AMAZING, KIND and ALWAYS HELPFUL...

Amazing holiday at this small and friendly hotel. All staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble to ensure our holiday was unforgettable. Alexandro helped me arrange train trips to Pizzo and Scilla. The shuttle bus driver was brilliant and our cocktail bar man on the terrace I wanted to bring home with me. Missing Calabria already - it’s been less than 12hrs. Xx

Beautiful and very friendly Only downfall is it is a bit far from the city center (2km) so transportation back and forth can get pricey

Pizzo town lovely A local resort type hotel with a pool. We were just overnighting so can’t comment on the facilities, but could have been a bit cleaner and found the beds a bit hard. Pizzo town was lovely though!

We had a wonderful week stay here, stayed in the ground floor suite which are so specious modern & clean. It’s a very quiet & peaceful place to stay. Vera & the reception staff were so helpful & friendly & resolved all our needs during our stay. Great pool which was cleaned daily, (we had to ourselves most of our stay.). Pino was also very nice & helpful with our safe & small bits we needed doing...

Great view of the sea and well maintained pool. Good breakfast selection. Good location 5 mins drive to Tropea center. Staffs were all very friendly and helpful.

What a fabulous find. Just far enough away from the hustle and hustle yet near enough to wander into town. Room was very clean and kitchenette and garden were an added bonus. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning with probably the best view in the area 😀 Can't wait to visit again soon

This is actually only a B&B and not a residence: very simple rooms with breakfast in a super nice location The selling point is the amazing view, mostly from the terrace (breakfast) and pool area. The misleadings are: residence label and the indicated price points before discount (e.g. €478 regular while we paid €157 which is what it was worth and not more). The discounted price is just what it is...

This was really Amazing, lovely views,and relaxing.The apartment was good,very clean and comfortable.The staff were nice,kind and friendly.I would recommend this place.Breakfast was great,as they served us gluten free, lactose free, egg free.keep it up.

This property has potential to be good. Old is one thing but dirty is another. Blankets musty and bathroom had absolutely no drainage.

Very nice hotell with excellent service from the staff.

We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea). I can recommend La Taverna!

This was an awesome place, and the view was great. the only thing was it has almost 50 steps down to the residence.

Nice bungalows. The greenery is well maintained. Ok - the pool. On the sea side it is very scenic. Disorganized. Restaurant hours for breakfast start too late. Pool bar at inconvenient hours and closed for lunch. Far from the sea!

Very nice structure in a wonderful location, Capo Vaticano is truly a magnificent place! The problem lies in the management, the managers don't even deign to greet you and are always ready to reproach you at the first opportunity. Shall we talk about housing? We stayed in the villas facing the pool, we were told that the decor is a little more dated than the apartments above but we didn't believe up...

Very good in all respects. The only flaw, for me that I use a wheelchair, the outdoor spaces have slopes with very steep slopes which somewhat affect safety and autonomy.

We had a wonderful holiday at this resort and highly recommend it, especially to families with children. The resort is well-organized and well-maintained, with plenty of spaces dedicated to children where they can have fun safely. The sea is simply beautiful: clear, clean, and easily accessible water, ideal for children too. A special thanks goes to all the staff, always available, kind, and ready...

Friendliness and commitment are evident, but sometimes they're not enough. Our animal friends are great, and I find the cost of their stay excellent. Many other hotels or resorts charge double or even triple the price without offering any real service. The facility deserves it and can offer more; I wouldn't rate it 4 stars. The sea is crystal-clear, but you need water shoes and the ability to swim...

Located right on the beach, the Costa Blu hotel is an ideal base for exploring Calabria, as well as a great place to relax by the sea. The hotel staff will help you in any situation. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious, and the rooms are fully equipped.

We have been for the fourth year at the Costa Blu hotel rooms always fresh and clean we took 6 and no one complained the umbrellas in the front row and they remained for the whole period without ever moving. the food good and abundant since there were many of us if someone was late was always satisfied the children have a great time in this village yes the entertainment and to see again Mrs. Elisabetta...

Only halfway through our stay here, but I don’t think I could stay anywhere else. The location is perfect - right outside your door is a Main Street with shops, restaurants, and a fantastic view just at the bottom of the hill. Our room is on the top floor and pictures don’t really do justice. We have a nice balcony area with a view of the piazza, a nice skylight in the bathroom, and a great aesthetic...

One of the best accommodation experiences we have had in 35 years of travel. The owner, Lena, treated my wife and I like family, and nothing was too much trouble. She even organised to retrieve my wife's suitcase from the airport after it went missing on our flight from Australia. I stayed at the hotel from September 10th to 17th...the beach and sea were enchanting and fabulous. The hotel was well-served with an excellent shuttle service to the beach and station. The service and organization...left a little to be desired...little attention to customers... For example, a Calabrian evening with excellent food, but no after-dinner entertainment and a dull evening. The next day...

Possibly the cleaned, best presented, affordable and charming BnB I have stayed at in a long time. Romy was absolutely lovely and super helpful. The accommodation was spotless, will be staying again!

Room and rest of the building was absolutely spotless clean. Spacious room with big bed, TV, wardrobe, AC, small dining area and a bathroom and fridge. Romy picked us up from the train station and took us back when we left. She also supplied a huge breakfast for us free of charge (and catered to our vegan diet). The fridge was stocked with food and drinks each for a small charge. The location is great...

Aether Suites was a home away from home. It was comfortable, the breakfast was simple but great just like at home. Our room was just lovely, it had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and beach and I would spend time just sitting there in the morning. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible. The location is amazing - 10 minute walk to the centre...

Thrilled with our stay at Aether Suites. Our room was perfect for our family of four and Giuseppe was a fantastic host from check in, to our breakfast in the morning and for accomodating our check out and bags at check out time. Our only regret is not being there longer. We will absolutely be back!!

Friendly staff, place was kept clean. It is a bit confusing to find in the town but once you find it you’ll never miss it. Lots of stairs to walk up to the top of the hotel where you check in and stay

We had a great week staying at Il residenza duomo. The staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was tasty and the property is in an excellent location for exploring the town, port and beaches.
