Agriturismo La Lamia in Castellabate

Structure very, very nice and cured both architecturally and from a hygienic point of view. Spacious and airy rooms. Dinner and breakfast with noteworthy home products. I recommend even an extended stay because Castellabbate deserves it.

This bb despite not overlooking the sea has all the features to earn 5 stars. Excellent and well-kept stone structure. Beautiful courtyard with large patio for breakfast or dinner (on request). The manager carmela is very good, kind and helpful. Make some spectacular desserts that we all tasted at breakfast. The rooms are well soundproofed, comfortable and spacious. Climate ok. If possible, book the family room (there is also a very scenic wooden cradle) which enjoys a superb view over the valley which leads in 7 minutes from castellabate to montecorice.
In fact just getting there is slightly difficult the first time perhaps. We will recommend this bb and indeed you can also ask for info in private.

We spent a wonderful week at this property.
There are only 4 guest rooms but this is an advantage because it allows you to receive a very attentive service and a quality of products (the lady prepares delicious homemade cakes for breakfast and delicious dinners).
Another advantage is being 5 minutes by car from the beautiful beaches of Cilento but, once back in the room, you can enjoy the peace of the countryside.

The "La Lamia" farmhouse is located in a pleasant district (Contrada Difesa), in the territory of the Municipality of Perdifumo. In reality, the welcoming structure is located about 2.5 km from Catellabate and about 5 km from Perdifumo. The large building was born from the renovation of a peasant house in 2003. Inside there are 5 rooms, spacious and tastefully furnished, with independent bathrooms, air conditioning, TV and wi-fi as well as a large and bright dining room finely furnished; outside there is a patio for outdoor dining and enough parking for guests' needs.
The agritourism complex has been masterfully managed, since 2015, full-time by Carmela and, occasionally, by her partner Nicola.
In the less frequented periods the structure is used for birthday parties, baptisms, confirmations and various anniversaries.
The managers produce extra virgin olive oil, cured meats, jams and pickles for sale on site.
The price, rather modest, includes breakfast with sweets and jams prepared by the expert and tireless hands of Carmela.
It is possible, upon reservation, to have lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices, especially if you consider the goodness and genuineness of the products as well as the preparation that follows the best Cilento culinary tradition.
Carmela and Nicola are two exquisite people who do everything possible to make guests feel at home.
In short, for those who want to spend a few days of relaxation, in the tranquility of the Cilento countryside, I highly recommend this wonderful Agriturismo.

Carmela and Nicola welcomed us with kindness and sympathy, making us immediately feel at home. Their structure is pretty and very clean. It takes just fifteen minutes by car to reach the sea, and Castellabate is very close. The food is excellent, thanks to the many products of their garden. Theirs is a simple but really tasty cuisine. Honestly, we couldn't have been better, so we extended our stay.
