My boyfriend and I had an amazing cooking class with Valentino! We were taught how to make tiramisu, fresh pasta and fresh mozzarella! Then the pasta was prepared for us with a seasonal sauce homemade on the spot with all ingredients from the farm. We also received a bottle of wine that was made with grapes from the farm. This is a must do if you ever visit San Lazzaro and the Amalfi Coast!

We stayed as part of an Explore 7 day walking tour. The tour was amazing, so well organized and an excellent way to see the Amalfi coast. For our group of four and quite a few of our tour group the accommodation selection was disappointing. The rooms and beds were fine, what we expected although our friend’s room was rather dank. There are two different buildings for the accommodation and one is more modern and spacious. We found the attitude of the hosts quite negative and unhelpful. We love a cup of tea and are more than happy to make it and clean up after but that was a problem for them. Some of the rooms had fresh towels over the week, some sheets, some neither. The food was ok, occasionally very nice but slightly hit and miss. Alternatives were supposed to be offered at lunch and dinner but rarely were. One of our group didn’t eat fish but tuna rolls were the only lunch option which was disappointing after hiking for four hours. There was only ever one option for lunch. There was a vegetarian meal available at dinner for those that didn’t eat fish. The WiFi was a problem, unusual in this day and age. Really the main thing for us (and I’m confused that previous reviewers didn’t experience this, possibly because we were there for seven nights) was the negative, unpleasant attitude of the hosts. We 100 percent wished we’d chosen the motel option which was the same price.

I just stayed here for one week with a hiking tour. The owners of this place do NOT know about hospitality - so surprising since we were in Italy! Never a smile. The food was terrible at breakfast and dinner. I would not recommend staying here.

I stayed 3 nights with my partner at Luna D’Agerola and it was the perfect choice. It’s a simple farmhouse-style accommodation, slightly different from a hotel, but it has nothing to envy: spacious and clean rooms with a beautiful view, genuine breakfast with local products, and a welcoming family always ready to help. We had dinner once and it was excellent. The location is ideal to explore the Amalfi Coast and Agerola’s hiking trails, with restaurants, supermarkets, and rental agencies for cars and scooters at good prices just nearby. The value for money is truly unbeatable – probably the best you can find in the area. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! So much fun meeting the family and everyone else. Food was delicious. Cooking class was so fun. The property is beautiful with amazing views of the countryside and ocean. We even got to milk cows. Would love to do this again

Incredible. The staff and food were terrific and they accommodated our vegetarian diet completely seamlessly. The rooms and facility overall were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Proximity to hiking trails and shops in San Lazzaro also a huge plus.

It was nice experience to stay in italian farmhouse, which is in the small town in the mountains above the Amalfi cost. Very good location if you want to go for example to Path of Gods. As mentioned it is in small town, so you have quite place and also in the near is city’s center with some shops & bars. Here stops bus going to Bomerano - the start point of Path of Gods. But if you like many to walk you can start just from here. Luna d’Agerola place is running by family. They have new, very clean rooms. Also here is small restaurant where you can have breakfast and also dinner. For dinner here come people also from the town. Italian local cuisine di terre with 0 km ingredients. We have had breakfast here each morning and dinner in some evenings. Every time was very delicious! The owner could give you practical advises regarding places of interesting in the near. Should I recommend to stay here ? - yes, of course!

I stayed for a week as part of an EXPLORE hiking trip along the Amalfi Coast. The owners were so helpful (Valentino & Giovanna - grazie) and I loved my quiet (which I had requested), immaculate and comfortable top-floor room in the 2nd building. The location is up the mountain from the coast so cooler in the evenings - great for sleeping. Bed and pillows were great, and an extra blanket was there if needed. Dinners we ate there were yummy with many local products including those from their farm. Breakfasts were fine - coffee & tea, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread, pastry and a boiled egg. Valentino even bought me some oat milk. I didn't pay for my room individually, but I can see from their website that it is well worth the money. The only thing missing for me was that wifi was only accessible in the main dining room area, which was often busy and a bit noisy with cooking classes, etc.

the food, the peace & quiet and the staff were so down to earth. there is a really nice homely vibe here and a lot of the ingredients come from their farm.
