And the Beatrice-like eyes alone are worth the trip.
I also used the bicycle rental which is only €10 for a full day, sturdy bikes that cycle well and I used to ride to the ferry to Venice.
The room included a daily breakfast, which was well stocked with a variety of breakfast items like croissants, crepe, cornflakes, baked bread buns, charcuterie and sweet items on bread.
If I would happen to return to the area, this hotel would definitely be on my list to visit again.
The walls were covered in mystery stains, no AC, lots of bugs

We booked for a 3 nights stay, only stayed long enough to see the room
The lady at the reception is the most unfriendly human being I ever interacted with. She insisted on city tax CASH ONLY payment. As we had no cash on us and we mention in the reservation we will pay with card, we told her that. She started explaining us how 1 euro coins look like, as if we could summon them from thin air. It was already 6PM and she told us we could pay that in the morning given the fact that the closest ATM is pretty far away by bus.
For every little piece of info she had to call her boss (She kept saying her only job is doing check-ins and check-outs). She called her boss at least 5 times during out 20 minutes max stay.
We couldn't add breakfast to the reservation because we mentioned it too late, so we would have to pay each morning separately.
Even for cancelling the reservation she had to call her boss to ask what the procedure is. After the call she didn't even get the refund info (full or partially) and insisted we call the boss in the morning, so she shouldn't call again.
Also, the shower can't be called a shower. It's basicall a curtain over the WC.
