This place has bed bugs. I woke up in the middle of the night all itchy and was itchy throughout the rest of the day, even though I couldn't see the bugs and the bite marks were very very tiny when they were visible at all.

The owners reaction was terrible--at first, we did go and check the bed frame, but he failed to check the mattress itself. He thinks that because the sheets were changed there could be no bed bugs? Um, no, that's not how bed bugs work.

No compensation for the bed bugs, in fact he told me "it's not his problem" and proceeded to kick me out.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if he had offered the bed-bug bed to another guest, because he didn't believe it was infested.

Additionally, there was an extra 6 euro linen charge that wasn't in the information on the hostelworld site.

Not only is there bed bugs, but the owner was rude in response. If it weren't for that, this place would have been fine.

Small place with a good owner

The place is probably older than the Roman empire. The guy at the reception has zero etiquettes and sense. No tourist on their vacation would like to get rude or get into an argument, but this place would definitely make one loose his/her temper.

Location is good. Pretty much the only good thing about this hostel.

When you ask for help with regards to booking they will say "It's not my problem". Avoid at all costs.
