Hotel Bisanzio in Venice

Front desk staff were extra helpful and friendly. A short walk from public water buses and St Marks square. Id say a very comfortable and and well maintained Venice Hotel.

Great location. Breakfast has a nice variety and fresh food. Very informative staff at the front desk and very attentive breakfast staff. We stayed at a family suite in the adjacent building. Very large given it's a historic 1600's building.

Location is just a 5 minute walk from St Mark's square and your literally seconds away from the Zaccaria vaporetto Ferries. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. AC works and rooms are clean. They did come and change the towels and make the beds each day.

We fully enjoyed this "hidden" gem of a hotel. It is so close to major sites but tucked away enough to be quiet and over-run with people in the narrow calle. Our room, a junior suite, was spacious, bright, very clean and quiet. The venetian glass chandelier and sconces were a beautiful touch. The check in was smooth, the welcome warm. The gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and full of ideas of things to see and do that visitors might not know about. The breakfast was wonderful in the garden each morning. We highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location, shops nearby , close to the shore and good variety of food for breakfast. Room controlled Aircon, very comfortable.

I booked a three person room. The room was really big and spacious. The toilet is clean, but the shower area is a bit small. The room have all necessities, like slippers and shower products, and also toothbrush set from the staff, which is really good. The hotel is close to a boat station, which is convenient for travel. Overall really good!!

The room is old and standard, but overall it is OK.

The room I booked does not include breakfast.
I stayed for two nights in total, two rooms, and paid 22.5 euros for accommodation tax when I checked out.
The location is really convenient. It is not close to the water, but it is quite convenient to walk to Piazza San Marco.
This room with a balcony is better. There is a little smell when I first arrived, and I opened the door to dissipate the smell. Then it was okay. The bathroom has a heater, and it was warm when I was there these two days.

Hotel Bisanzio: Excellent Location, Solid Value!

Location, location, location! Hotel Bisanzio boasts a fantastic spot, just a few minutes' walk from Piazza San Marco, yet tucked away on a quiet street, offering a welcome respite from the bustling tourist crowds. Price-wise, it's Venice, so expect to pay a bit more, but traveling during the low season definitely helped with affordability.

The hotel itself is a solid, no-frills option. It provides all the basic services you'd expect. The staff were consistently nice and helpful, which I appreciated. We opted out of the 15 euro breakfast to explore local cafes instead.

Our room was decent, though it had a few minor quirks. The bed, however, was absolutely incredible – a solid 10/10 for comfort! On the downside, the TV didn't seem to pick up any channels (even after I plugged it in), and the wall-mounted hairdryer was a bit cumbersome to use. Also, the room was surprisingly warm, even with the air conditioning turned off.

Overall, I'd recommend Hotel Bisanzio. It offers a great balance of quality, location, and price, especially for Venice. You get a well located hotel, at a good price, and a very good bed.

Great location, large clean rooms, rich breakfast variety, gentle and friendly stuff. What else a guest wants more? Heating in the building and room was fine, hot water was well adjusted. Mini bar was full with reasonable prices. Bag storage is free of charge.
I strongly recommend Bisanzio hotel as a frequent traveller.
