Hotel Alexander is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The friendly staff, the cleanliness, the whole ambience of the hotel is second to none. A fabulous hotel. Thank you to everyone for a fantastic stay.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the service, the cleanliness and the friendly approach from the staff. Everyone were extremely attentive, and provided a personal touch. We booked for half board - breakfast and evening meal, with on site parking. Our room a Suprior Double with balcony and side sea view. The food, choice and quality was amazing - choice of three course menu in addition to extensive buffet - breakfast quality and choice was equally amazing. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable with air conditioning. parking was easy and efficient - with valet parking being provided. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel, and look forward to our next stay.

I spent a week at the Hotel Alexander with my wife and adult son. This is a smallish hotel located in Milano Marittima which is a smart resort with many hotels, good quality restaurants and expensive shops. We were greeted when we arrived by very friendly reception staff who showed us to our room. We shared a family room which had a double bed and a proper single bed (i.e. not a sofa bed). I had been worried that the room would be very cramped but, although not very large, it was comfortable. There pas plenty of storage for three people's clothes. The bathroom was fine although the shower cubicle was quite small. We had a small balcony with one chair on it. We were half board which meant we could choose from lunch and dinner each day. Lunch was a buffet while dinner was a buffet starter and dessert with the prima and secondo piatti being served. The head waiter asked us each day what we wanted to order and was happy to arrange alternatives to satisfy our dietary needs. The quality of the food was a but mixed - we had some very good courses but also a few disappointing ones. Lunch and dinner was served in a spacious restaurant on the ground flower while breakfast was served on the lower ground floor with a choice of outside tables by the pool or inside tables. The breakfast was good quality although there was an emphasis on sweet rather than savoury items. On one day when it was raining, everyone sat inside and it was a but cramped. The staff were vey friendly throughout the hotel. The pool is a good sized with warm water. There were 22 chairs around the pool which was usually more than sufficient. The only time the pool got busy was at the end of the day when people came back from the beach. Pool towels are provided and can be changed whenever you want. We also had free access to the nearby Aba beach club with allocated chairs and umbrellas, restaurant and good shower, changing and toilet facilities. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which takes you to Cervia station but the buses are not that frequent. Most people staying at the hotel were Italian and came by car.

An amazing place with a family atmosphere and an extremely friendly approach to guests. I encourage you to visit this hotel in person.

We had a fantastic week at this hotel! Specious rooms, easy parking at the hotel, heated pool, super friendly entertainment for kids and amazing hotel staff! The food was great, perfect location walking distance from the beach and the centre, we would love to go back in the future!

We had a great vacation here with our family and friends. They came here for 10 year straight. The hotel has a great location, near to the beach, with a very nice pool, excellent food and a very friendly and helpful staff. Near the hotel is the city centre with all the caffees and very nice shops
