You'll find a large heated pool and whirlpool.
The daily menu and buffet are thoughtfully prepared. The desserts are amazing.

Our waiter, Guido, was special and always attentive to pampering us.
Mario is wonderful with all his guests. My daughter celebrated her 13th birthday at the "Dancing Monkey" themed evening, and they threw her an unforgettable party.

A couple of years ago, I returned to spend my holidays at the Hotel Derby, just as I did every summer until I turned 18. This alone should be enough to tell you how wonderful it is to stay at this hotel. The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is immaculately maintained, with a spacious dining room and a beautiful, always-sunny pool. Located on the seafront and just steps from the town center, it's the perfect place to enjoy a vacation in Milano Marittima.

Eco-friendly hotel in a great location, next to the beach and a short stroll to the city center. Friendly staff and a family attentive to details. Had a very relaxing time with family; kids enjoyed the pool; great entertainment. Breakfast was amazing including a huge variety of fresh pastries and organic teas, a memorable tiramisu. Definitely recommend the hotel to all looking for a special and relaxing stay in this exceptional culinary region of Italy.

I state that the review is the result of an experience accumulated over many years of group stays, therefore an objective evaluation with feedback and comparisons with other hotels.
The Derby Hotel is a 4 * hotel and is worth it all,
starting with the owners Gianni and family, people with a rare availability, always ready to fulfill every request, showing great attention to customers.
The cleanliness of the rooms is excellent, the rooms are equipped with every comfort, from satellite TV, to the mini bar, to the safe, to the balcony etc. etc.
The restaurant service is of a high standard, from breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes of excellent quality and choice, practically all at the top.
To conclude, the Derby Hotel is certainly to be recommended for a holiday in Romagna, to be sure, this review is the result of a set of evaluations by the 40 members of the entire group.

I spent a weekend in September with friends and stayed only one night.
The hotel features spacious and modernly furnished rooms, with balconies and a second TV for those wishing to stay outside. Discreet bathroom, with the shower a little sacrificed, I think it derives from design choices following the renovation of the rooms.
Easy access and fast Wi-Fi (not at all obvious).

The swimming pool is very nice, with a children's pool as well as a hydro massage.
There is a towel service for the partner beach in front of the hotel and umbrellas and sunbeds are also included in the stay fee.

Strategic position both for access to the sea and for the city center.

Very rich breakfast, with freshly baked pastries and cakes of all kinds. There is also the continental one with scrambled eggs, frankfurters and everything else, but I haven't tasted it.

If I may make a note, I hope constructively: I have not found that typical Romangnola welcome to which I am used to. For heaven's sake, no disservice with the staff, but I noticed a certain detachment, which is noticeable in these areas 😉

We stayed at Hotel Derby for a week in June and it was absolutely wonderful! The owners and staff clearly want to please the guests. Even though we could not speak Italian (we did try), we were greeted with warm smiles and a staff that went out of the way for our every request. My daughter got a little cut while playing outside and they ran to get her band-aides and anti-bacterial ointment. Every day we were amazed by the range of foods that were served daily (dozens of options) and the desserts were spectacular. We travel the world and have lived in Europe for a few years and this has become one of our favorite destinations. We will be back year after year!
