A cozy place, very spacious rooms, excellent cuisine. Congratulations to director Maurice, he's always at his best! We'll definitely be back for a beautiful and relaxing stay. Azzurra Riboldi!

A wonderful experience. The service is excellent, the waiters are all very pleasant, punctual, and helpful. The restaurant is very good; the menu changes daily, the portions are not exaggerated, the dishes are beautifully presented and original, and the ingredients are excellent. The desserts are especially worth trying; they are all very good, especially the red velvet and cheesecake. The rooms are some very spacious, others small but still comfortable. The pool is large and clean, surrounded by various plants that make the environment cooler and shady. The path from the hotel to the sea is short, and along the way, you can admire the tennis courts and climbing plants branching out along the way. The sun loungers and umbrellas are comfortable, large, functional, and well-spaced. The restaurant and beach bar are excellent, and the service is impeccable, as they can also bring food directly to your beach umbrella. In case of doubt or emergency, all umbrellas have a system installed to call lifeguards. The girls and boys at the reception are attentive and kind. The bike service is discreet. Congratulations to the manager." I highly recommend this hotel and had a wonderful week.

We have used this hotel already several times for our business trip. Always very friendly and helpful staff, combined with delicious Italian style breakfast and dinner. Just perfect.

A Timeless Italian Tradition

I’ve been visiting the Mare Pineta Resort since I was a year old, and over the decades it has become a cherished family tradition. Each summer, our whole family (grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles) would gather here, making it truly our home away from home.

What sets Mare Pineta apart is that it’s not just a beautiful resort; it’s a place that has evolved gracefully while keeping its timeless soul. Renovations and new additions have blended seamlessly with its original charm.

The exclusive beach club is one of its crown jewels. Spacious by Italian standards, the sunbeds are thoughtfully spaced so you never feel crowded. The food is simply yummy, always fresh, delicious, and exactly what you want after a morning at the beach. Breakfast is manic in the best way, an absolutely insane buffet that’s impossible to resist.

One of the most special things? The sense of community. We’ve been seeing the same families return for decades, sharing summers together year after year. Add to that tennis courts, consistently great service, and that laid-back Italian elegance, and you have the perfect recipe for a place you never want to leave.

For me, Mare Pineta isn’t simply a vacation spot, it’s a living album of family memories, and it never loses its magic. Home away from home! 🏠

I booked a stay at Mare Pineta Resort (Booking 1869-25) and had to leave within one hour of check-in due to the shocking condition of the assigned room. The room was heavily infested with mould, posing a serious health hazard.

The only “solution” offered was to have housekeeping attempt to clean the mould while keeping us in the same room. No alternative room was provided. This was completely unacceptable given the severity of the issue.

We immediately vacated the property, yet the hotel has refused to issue a refund — claiming they are not obligated to reimburse us despite failing to provide habitable accommodation. To make matters worse, the hotel denies the problem entirely and maintains they are blameless.

This is not a matter of personal preference or minor dissatisfaction — the room was unfit for human occupancy. Guests deserve clean, safe, and healthy environments, and this was far from it.

I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider before booking here. Our experience was both stressful and costly, and the hotel’s management showed no willingness to take responsibility.

UPDATE:

I stand by my review as an accurate account of my personal experience. Upon arrival, I found visible mould-like stains and other hygiene concerns in the assigned room. These were documented with photos.

The only immediate solution offered was to have housekeeping clean the affected areas, and I was told no alternative room was available that day. As this did not address my concerns, I decided to leave within an hour of check-in.

My review is not intended to defame but to share a truthful experience so future guests can make informed decisions. I welcome any interested party, including relevant consumer protection authorities, to review the evidence I have provided.

Excellent. Over and over again. One of the best hotels in the area. A very good restaurant bringing a superb regional menu. Excellent service. Perfect infrastructure. The beach you want and that gives you space. Excellent house keeping. A bar that serves correct coctails. I have to think intensively to mention some minor critical issues. Both linked to the guests and not the hotel itself: some guests ( English….) do not respect basic courtesy to staff , overal rules and surroundings, and the perfect swimming pool and beach attract free loaders that are not guests of the hotel.

We stayed here for 8 nights and we were very pleased. The hotel is beautiful, service is friendly and top, the restaurant is incredible with top quality and delicious food and a new menu every night. The beach is located right behind the hotel and the beach restaurant serves tasty and high quality food as well. We were very satisfied and happy with our choice to stay here. We love that the hotel is very family friendly. I don’t understand why the rating isn’t higher on google. I’m giving this hotel 5 stars on google.
I highly recommend this hotel. And my husband and I will definitely come back again soon.

Despite being advertised as a 5-star resort, MarePineta felt more like a 3-star hotel at best. The service was underwhelming—slow and lacking attentiveness. The food was especially disappointing. In a country known for its culinary excellence, I expected much better. The risotto, a staple of Italian cuisine, was bland and uninspired. While the menu changed daily, unfortunately, so did the disappointment.

One particularly confusing moment was being served an apple-flavored muffin in place of what was supposed to be an apple pie. As an English guest, that was truly baffling. The overall quality and flavor of the meals were very poor, to the point that although we had paid for half board, we found ourselves opting for takeaway every night instead.

We raised our concerns with the management, but sadly, there was no genuine interest or effort shown to address the issues. The lack of care and quality made the whole experience far from pleasant.

I wouldn’t recommend this resort and certainly don’t plan on returning.

Very nice location. Top breakfast and room cleaning. Beautiful pool area. Beautiful hotel beach. The stuff at the beach-bar is not really professional. Three people come within two minutes and ask the same thing....

Robbed, assaulted by staff, treated like a thief. Had given staff a higher rating however after my wife was told "we received 500" on a bill where I sent 900, or over 1000 euros per day, after being assaulted by the hotel reception, never given receipts. What is sad is that everything is videosurveilled so why not look? Why hide? Not angry but don't pay with cash ever and don't put money in safes. It comes up missing or locked. I am handicapped, with serious medical issues, so if I am to be robbed, you will be too. So sad as it is a beautiful place.

I stay in this hotel for 3 night, and I'm impressed about high standards. Hospitality on the top level.Gym great, big breakfast option and a lot art pieces 👌

Stayed for 7 nights. Staff is inexperienced and some are not friendly at all. Pool is not a place where you will relax as hotel staff also use the pool and bring their teenage friends along ( and they are very loud and inconsiderate of other guests).

It’s not even a 4 * hotel. Poor breakfast, no Wi-Fi at the pool, very uncomfortable mattress- asked for a king bed and we were give two singles put together with no topper ( unacceptable for any hotel, especially for a 5*). Booked for dinner and only when we showed up, we were told we couldn’t wear shorts. They have no prices on the menu and staff is very cold and head-waiter was staring at our feet for wearing flip flops at breakfast.

CATASTROPHIC hotel! staff talk about customers and laugh at them. the maids steal and touch the bags, reception speaks badly to you! Never again !!!!!
