I am going to start with facility...it is a multi layer mounten facility and our appartement was on the highist level which gives you a magnificent view of the see...the appartemen is simple equipded with an airco which is very important in the hot days of the summer there.
The beach is stone beach and each reservation has an umbrella number that you received from the reception...never crowded and pleasant...there you might take Aqua shoes with you to help you against the stones.
there is also a shuttel bus for the resort that works from 09:30 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00...the bus can get you from the beach to your layer and vice versa
it is better to go there with a car so you can have a chance to visit multi location around you.
The team:never better....very friendly team never see before...the day we arrived we hired a bus (group of 10) from Catania airport to the resort ...it was a Sunday afternoon and we
asked if we can go to the restaurent somewhere...the receptionist said :it is too late for the the beach restaurent but another restaurent will open on 20:00 but dont worry i am going to ask the beach restaurent to send you a meal to your apprtement... they send us pizza for 10 persons and a lot of things just free of charge...something we dont see here in west Europe.
The next day we asked the reception if they can take us with the shttel bus to the nearby village to buy some grocery and they just took us also for free...totally we used thier shtttel bus 4 times to go to San Giorgio village and they did'nt ask an extra cent...i remebre once i bought 3 ice cream from the beach bar and i forget one so i asked for extra one ...also they give me one for free.
The beach restaurent has a view on the see...there you can eat a Pnini and drink a bier and cola for cheap price
The restaurent in the first layer has a delicious Pizza ...we ordered 8 Pizza and 2 French fries with 2 bottles water and bottle cola and paid €120...it is €12 per person we eat 5 pizza and we take the rest with us.there is also a bar which you can just set and drink what you want.
The nearby village is small but it has a mini market (Conad) which has almost every thing you need...against the Conad there is bakkery that has delisious italians bread end ready meals..that was also a perfect.
We asked the reception team if they can take us to fish restaurent in the village and the take us to one in the village where the grilled fish was from another world...with local made wine and bier...a table for 10 with 3 dishes of grilled fish with frensh fries with extra 4 dishes and the water and the wine and the cola i paid €17 per person...if i do the same in Germany i will pay certainly the dubble..
Finally: considering what we get for the money we paid i can say we are very happy...for team there i say thank you for the nice and generous hospitality..
I highly recommended this place.
