This was our first time in the Dolomites and we were struck by the sheer beauty of the place. The hotel is very well situated, you can ski in the less crowded and more family-friendly Alpe di Siusi, but you can also access (by bus) the more challenging and much busier Val Gardena. It wasn't as good as advertised... The breakfast service was absolutely terrible, not what you'd expect from a hotel of this level... From the dining to the views of the Dolomites and sky-lift from the hill top and everything in between -we had an amazing experience. The spa was clean and well run.if you ask they will let you use their hiking poles for a day of climbing. Nice experience, nice place, nice view, good food and nice people. Clean room, large bathroom, typical and abundant breakfast and characteristic dinner. An excellent initiative is the Mobilcard, free and recommended by the girl from the farm, which allowed us to travel by public transport for free, even during a snowfall.

Accommodation for a few days last summer. The place is extremely quiet and even the outdoor lighting is rightly at a minimum at night. There are trails within walking distance of the property that lead for example to the Pond of Fiè. The only problem is the distance from the town with the shops for shopping

Absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms are very spacious, comfortable , and clean! The location is perfect, just a few steps away from a nice grocery store and several restaurants. This hotel staff lacks customer appreciation. The hotel is very pretty and has a unique old world style. I loved the carpets and woodwork on the ceilings. Liked everything about this place except the process for check-in and check-out. We were required to do both at a sister hotel a block away that was closed. The Cavallino was not staffed, which was a problem on two evenings when a dog in the room next to ours was barking and whining, presumably left unattended by its owner. Yet there was no staff on the premises to deal with the situation.

I highly recommend this structure, because it is managed by correct and precise people: large, clean apartments with many comforts.
