Room was clean and neat but there are things that must be addressed for visitors to have a pleasant stay....No plug sockets anywhere in the room to charge your phone; I had to unplug the fridge to do this and there was no plug near the bed. A constant high pitched squeak, presumably from the cleaning cart, could be heard for hours as it was moved around the corridors. There was no "do not disturb" sign so you could not relax in the room. Paper thin walls. Tiling the floors was a mistake: every footstep and suitcase could be heard from every floor, and the chairs in the rooms need soft pads underneath because they make a terrible noise when dragged across a room.

Great view. You can see Mount Etna from your balcony if you are on the back side or if you are looking around the right side of the front of the building. Watch out for traffic when you are walking across the road to the beach though, because they go fast on that road. The dinner was bad and my whole group agreed.

The service is very good and the rooms are kept clean. One star less, because the food is not very good

Nice, clean and simple 3 star hotel, closest to the beach (about 1 minute walk /50 meters), very beautiful and not overcrowded beach, clear and clean water, beautiful view to the coastline and Taormina. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is okay (not great), dinner is mostly delicious with homemade pasta (al dente). Air condition works perfectly. It must so, because outside it can get very loud because of a karaoke bar...
10 minutes walk to the restaurant (tourist) area. Etna in the backyard and watching the vulcano from the hotel roof with a nice drink in the evening is something nobody should miss, even though, it seems that nobody knows, because even in summer season the hotel is not overcrowded. Beautiful city of Taormina is just a busride away (1h all in all). We stayed there for a week and it was great, thanks to the patron who knows his business.
