Hotel Maioli in Misano Adriatico

Luckily, I only stayed at this hotel for one night, and I left immediately the next morning. I should start by saying that I usually never write negative reviews because I always appreciate those who work with the public, knowing from experience how difficult it is. However, the stay was a nightmare from arrival to departure. We booked through *********** for the modest sum of €108 for a room that would be an exaggeration to call 3-star. The furniture and doors were broken, with pieces falling off. The bathroom had a showerhead in the middle of the room, no shower tray, just a drain in the middle of the bathroom. A torn curtain covering the door separating the bathroom from the bedroom was also used, and the door itself was peeling off due to the water. If you're not careful, turning on the water could flood the room. The rooms aren't soundproofed, because you could hear the people who checked in at 11:00 turning on the air conditioning in the next room. Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of variety. It's a shame the empty croissants were stale, having already been left in the room the night before, the artisanal tarts were burnt, and the undercooked pizzas stuck to the plate. The fantastic experience was crowned by the rudeness of the wait staff, who rudely refused me a high chair for my one-year-old, and the lady who threw the breakfast bin on the table, frightening the child who had "breakfast" in our parents' arms. Honestly, this is the first time I've stayed in Romagna, a region always known for its warm welcome, which I didn't find at this hotel. In fact, I don't understand all these positive reviews that have led me to the worst stay of my life so far. The authenticity of the photos published by the hotel is even more questionable.

We just got catfished by the pictures online of their „deluxe double room with balcony“ not what I expected. Another one, as soon as I paid the room went down from 448€ to 230€ for 4 nights. Breakfast was a joke we went down at 8:50 what I think is a pretty decent time to go when you are on vacation, and their was almost no food left I got 2 slices of tomato’s and 2 of mozzarella they didn’t bother to refill it. Yeaaa I really wouldn’t book again we where thinking about just canceling it and going somewhere else

We book on this structure for the sole reason that it appears to be one of the two with availability for nine people on the dates requested through Booking. Upon arrival, the reception is deserted. Fortunately, the owner arrives after a few tens of minutes and we can check-in. Instead, he tells me verbatim that we have to wait for him to have a coffee and then we talk about it ....
Left to his breakfast, we can then proceed to check-in after about twenty minutes and everyone can go to the room. Highlights: wardrobe back from a couple of centuries of history, electrical system and fan in the room that not even in Kabul, 60s bathroom door impossible to close (bolt-interlocking distance at least 3 / 4cm), shower curtain that instead of being white looked like a Dalmatian with yellow spots, the hardness of the pillow comparable to a steel coil.
But we are young and we go on, day at the beach and then a nice shower before the evening.
Ice cold water like the gin and tonic grenadine, then we go down to the reception and a very kind young lady, laughing, tells us that the boiler is broken and the plumber does not come. Shower in pieces for everyone, hair to wash in the sink unless one wants to hibernate.
We go down to go to dinner and, after the umpteenth grievances, the owner "refunds" us 10 € cash each. Oh, I forgot, the room for overnight stay and breakfast cost € 63 !!!
The only kindness is the possibility of a late check-out at no extra cost and the only note of merit for the new and silent air conditioning system and the spatial breakfast!
Taking into account that the hotel is a stone's throw from the railway and that I recommend it at night, I would say that we can add it to the things to avoid in the continuation of life.
