Residence Cesa Ladina in Ortisei

Fantastically clean , well equipped apartment with a fantastic view overlooking Ortisei . We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again , it is up a hill but we enjoyed the walk to the village every day and it is not too strenuous , the views along the way more than make up for it . Lots of information about restaurants etc available at reception and Miriam was very helpful , all in all would highly recommend Residence Cesa Ladina .

We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment unit on the ground floor which was clean and spacious, perfect for two couples. It also had a really nice outdoor patio sitting area with a great view. Residence Cësa Ladina is in a quiet area about a 10 minute walk to the town centre and lifts. Miriam, our hostess, was wonderful, giving us good suggestions for things to see and do. She was also excellent at communicating before and during our stay. We really enjoyed our time in Ortisei and I would highly recommend staying at Residence Cësa Ladina if you are planning a trip to the area.

When I found Residence Cesa Ladina while checking accommodations in Ortesei, I knew this was where I wanted to rest my head and celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. I booked the Puez apartment a year in advance; Miriam (our hostess) was so easy to work with. Upon arrival she gave us a tour of the laundry, apartment, how the appliances worked, etc. it made our 7 day stay so much more enjoyable. We parked our car in the garage and didn’t use it for the time we were in Ortesei. The views from the balcony are amazing; it was only 15 minute walk to the Seceda gondola and to the centrum; the apartment is exactly as shown in the photos on the website. So quiet, and the mattress provided a restful night’s sleep. The WiFi was excellent. And the provided bus pass was used twice. We loved our week in Ortesei and at ResidenceCesa Ladina. I think you would love it !

We stayed as a family in the upper level larger suite in June. Miriam was an excellent and personal host and I can't say enough about the beauty and detail in the accommodation-amazing woodwork and cabinetry in the suite itself (?pine) with great attention to detail re: stocking the kitchen and bathrooms and overall cleanliness. As other reviewers have said, amazing vie of the valley and town-great to sit on the balcony in the AM with a coffee or the evening with a glass of wine. The residence is also well situated-a short walk to join the path that leads into the heart of town. A winner on all levels! Would recommend to anyone visiting the town and area!

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant and successful. The layout of the rooms and other necessary facilities were very functional, plus there was a private parking garage. The hotel rooms were very clean and the kitchen well equipped, although an oven would have been a good addition. The location was excellent, close to the village and with good views, the walk to the lift station could have been a bit shorter. The hotel hostess Miriam was very helpful at every stage of the trip and even sent me a cap and gloves that I had forgotten in the room in the mail afterwards!

Our stay at the residence was exceptional. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The location was perfect and everything necessary was accessible by foot. The kitchen was fully equipped which we found super helpful if one wants to cook there. The views from the balcony we had were spectacular. We cannot recommend this place enough!:)

Everything about this Residence is perfect. Extremely clean, well-equipped, comfortable, great location and Miriam attended to all our needs. She was available and helpful! I will return and recommend to family and friends! If you want to be centrally located and staying in a place that has everything you could possibly need or want, then this is the place for you!

We spent 4 weeks in September/October staying in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment at Cesa Ladina and loved every moment! Pre-arrival communication with host Miriam was smooth and easy. She emailed our Mobil Card (free local bus pass) ahead of time so we could arrive for free on Bus 350 from Bolzano. She met us with her car at the bus stop in Ortisei to assist with luggage. Her kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness continued throughout our stay. She gave us a thorough walkthrough of all the systems and amenities in the apartment and the building as a whole. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for a long stay. The décor is in charming Tyrolian style. The large amount of storage in pretty pine cabinetry allowed us to stay organized. The fixtures (including a lovely deep bathtub) in the bathrooms and kitchen were modern and in perfect working order. Fresh towels and kitchen linen were provided twice a week, and fresh bed linens once a week. We could arrange a cleaning at any time, but the apartment was also equipped with cleaning supplies and a central vacuum system to keep it tidy ourselves. The apartment furnishings were comfortable and cozy for meals and relaxation after days spent hiking. Internet was fast and reliable. The balcony (edged with vibrant flower boxes in full bloom even in September/October) had a beautiful view across the valley. We could see the peak of Sasso Lungo, the red gondolas floating up to Seiser Alm, the Promenade, and the beautiful buildings of the town. Extra thoughtful amenities included laundry tubs, drying racks, and clothes pins you could bring to your balcony, as well as an elevator, clothes washer and dryer, and utility sinks to clean muddy hiking poles and boots. From Cesa Ladina we could easily walk to the gondolas and funicular that carry you to the three different hiking areas: Seiser Alm, Seceda, and Resciesa. Within about 10-15 minutes, we could also walk to town, 3 different grocery stores, bakeries, playgrounds, and bus stops. Cesa Ladina is far enough from town to be peaceful, calm, and quiet, yet close enough to stroll in along the Luis Trenker Promenade for restaurants, cafes, and shops. We hope to return to Ortisei for more hiking holidays and will definitely choose to stay at Cesa Ladina again!

My daughter and absolutely loved our 3 day stay at Cesa Ladina. We were willing to canceling our next location to stay longer but they were fully booked and its obvious why. The beds were the nicest we slept on in our 10 day trip. The view was just stunning. They apartment had everything we need. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessities. The owners went above and beyond from holding our bags at early check in and offering wonderful places to eat. we booked 2 more nights in a nearby hotel and they delivered our bags for us! We highly recommend to our fellow travelers and without a doubt we will be back!
