Grand 19th century villa with lovely modern rooms and beautiful view of the river. Service is very nice and attentive to your expectations.
The traffic can be a bit noisy sometimes during the day. Walking distance to town center and bus stops.

Pleasant rooms on the Passer River
Windsor Hotel in Meran was a fairly recently renovated hotel in an attractive older building. Along the promenade on the Passer River it’s very close to the Old Town and the thermal springs. Nice staff and pleasant rooms.

We have stayed in several different hotels in Merano in the last few years, but Windsor is our new favorite. Family-owned and operated, everyone on the staff was very kind and welcoming. We were traveling by bicycle, and this hotel has a beautiful and convenient bike storage room in their parking garage under the hotel, with the ability to charge e-bikes. Nice breakfast buffet in a comfortable dining room, with good selection of fruit, cereals, rolls, pastries, etc. Being cool weather, we did not get to experience the outdoor courtyard and pool — next time! Conveniently located on the river, close to the train station and the historic center.

The hotel is strategically located in the city center, at the edge of the pedestrian area but also close to the local train station. The rooms are spacious, quiet and extraordinarily clean. Breakfast is lavish and it offers a variety of food, from fine local cakes and pastries to high quality bread and cold cuts. The staff is helpful and ready to give advice for an unforgettable holiday.

Cosy family run hotel in Meran within a few minutes walking distance along the river to the center, thermal bath, transportation and restaurants.
Very good breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and comfortable, clean rooms made it the perfect base for a long weekend getaway.
Friendly and attentive staff. To top it all off, we were given a free pass for all public transport in Alto Adige for the duration of our stay.

Thank you Windsor! The hotel is close to the center, beautiful, spacious and well-equipped rooms, varied breakfasts and, above all, great and helpful, smiling staff. The beds are very comfortable, the room is beautifully clean, perfectly tidy and fragrant 👌❤️. The pool is large, super clean, I appreciate that we also had towels for the pool. Maximum satisfaction! 👏

This is a scam, I repeat a scam!!!
No way this hotel got such high score without somebody playing with its score on all platforms.
This is such a bad hotel I wouldn’t come here for free. You can check my google credibility and see I am very credible.
We stayed at the suit room for 3 nights. Family of 5.
All the hotel including the rooms have strong cigarette smell. The facility is so old and doesn’t even come close to the pictures which looks fancy, it’s a wreck. They positioned cockroach and ant traps and some white powder inside the room and outside in the balcony, so disgusting. Mosquitoes everywhere. The pool has a cleaning liquid smell we didn’t even go inside once. The hotel lobby and corridors are so naked old and smelly I feel I’m walking in a poor lousy suburb building. On the way from the hotel to the old city you have so many homeless people all along the way my wife didn’t even go once for a walk by herself. There are suites people living in this building which are many rooms and they are so weird it’s is awkward even encountering them.
I think you get it…they ruined 3 night of my trip!!!

Merano is a special little gem that we just loved. The hotel is beautiful and Dan was so helpful and very funny. The staff were super friendly and breakfast was great. Definitely worth the trip!
