We stayed for a weekend at the recommendation of a family member. The facility is a bit dated. It needs some updating, interior walls need painting, and the shower stall needs replacing due to excessive mold and rust. We stayed in room 10. It's a bit cramped, but it's fine for sleeping. There's a fridge, air conditioning, and a TV, which add value. As I mentioned, the little house could use some maintenance. The hairdryer is also dated and slow. The price for September was €85, including breakfast. The sweet and savory breakfast is limited, but for a 3-star hotel, it's okay. The staff and owners are friendly, and they offer a free beach shuttle service. They have a partner beach club for €18/day in 5th row.

Last week we were guests at the Tabu Hotel.
We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Teresa, who manages everything with her son Pasquale and her husband Antonio. Impeccable service.
The room was very comfortable, clean, and the food was excellent, reflecting Neapolitan tradition. Thanks also to the staff, especially Mr. Gianfranco, who, in addition to his courtesy, delighted us with his kindness.

It's a perfect resort if you're looking for rest and tranquility, recommended for a family or couples vacation without too many expectations. It's worth noting that it's not ideal for children because there's no entertainment or other evening activities; in fact, it could be improved in this regard. It's not very large (about twenty rooms), but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay: spacious rooms with patios, a garden with lounge chairs, a minibar, and parking. It's family-run, and this is evident in its strong point: the cuisine. The food is excellent; breakfast is generous, and different dishes are offered at each dinner; the freshness of the food is evident. There are several options for the sea: the Arco Naturale beach is about 1 km away (about a 15-minute walk), or you can drive there and park in the parking lot. Another option is the shuttle service (€5 per person) to a partner beach in Marina di Camerota (less than 10 minutes by car). They also organize boat excursions and nighttime fishing trips. A special shout-out to Gianfranco, a delightful and helpful person, the pillar of the village.

I loved this place and hope to return again soon. It was the perfect vacation for my family of five. The food and hospitality were exceptional. They even did my laundry! The accommodations were comfortable. I loved the outdoor shower our room had. The scenery in the area was breathtaking and the beach was convenient. Arco Nazionale was a pleasant walk down a quiet road and other Palinuro beaches are just as accessible to humans as they were to Virgil's Cyclops. Hotel Villagio Tabù provides transportation, although we had no trouble parking anywhere. If you want to avoid the tourist crowds overwhelming the rest of Europe, Cilento is a great place to relax, especially if you know a little Italian and don't mind paying in cash most places.
