Agriturismo Acquabona in Scala

We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! It was our favourite accommodation throughout our entire Italy trip. It took us awhile to find the place since we had no car and had to rely on public transit and lots of walking. Upon arrival we were met by the owner Christoforo and his wife who were both extremely welcoming and offered us some water. The property is beautifully situated on the hillside to the west of Ravello. Lots of fruit trees, grazing goats, cute cats, and a couple mules. It was an incredibly authentic rural Italian experience that was unmatched at our other stays. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious multi-course dinner one night that was prepared by the hosts themselves. The included breakfasts were also quite large and equally delectable. Overall fantastic hospitality. I would definitely return here if I’m back on the Amalfi Coast!

We enjoyed the wonderfully excentric host, Chris. The antipasto was the best I've ever had and not being an antipasto eater, thats saying something. He showed a generosity that was much appreciated.

Beautiful room and location but the very best must be the kind and enthousiast owner. He picked us up at the road (you need to park there in order to get to the hotel) with a small van and even drove us to Ravello as gesture.

The room is very clean and everything has been set up beautifully for the guests.

Christoforo is the most awesome host you will meet. He has a sprawling property of a variety of fruits and vegetables. The place is clean and even cool in the summer time at night.
Should you go there stay for dinner. You will be treated to a three course meal all home made and all from farm to table. For something comparable outside you would pay three times as much. All extremely delicious. It is run primarily by him and his wife.The only issue we had was finding the place. Being nestled in the hills you can easily why that is. But all in all we had a great time and will defiantly return.

A wonderful place to stay in the region of Amalfi. Very idyllic farm in the middle of citron trees, grapes and traditional Italian style of living.
You MUST taste the absolute delicious dinner made by the host himself. All fresh and 100% tasty. This is Italian cuisine! GREAT!

We stayed with Cris for three nights. He has a gorgeous property that is a short walk to Ravello. He and his family are so kind and welcoming. It really made our Italy trip special. Cris is also a fantastic cook and upon request he prepared an awesome multi-course dinner for our family. Highly recommended!
