Hotel Parco in Castellammare di Stabia

My room had a beautiful bathroom and balcony. Can walk to gelato but grocery store was 20 minutes along a busy road. If you leave your window open you hear dogs and roosters in the middle of the night. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good.

The hotel has a good parking lot and the staff are friendly but it is a little outdated, the internet deserves an improvement because it has a lot of drops, there is no minibar, there is no full length mirror and the breakfast is very simple, the shower is good and it has a balcony with a view of the volcano.

There is a lot pluses and minuses in this Hotel. The owner lost our payment (we payed 1 month before our staying) and we had to call to our bank to send us notice that we really payed, they just didn't believed us. I find this very unprofessional. But they found our payment when we got back at home (and return the second payment). Hotel has a very nice park and big parking. They have good breakfast - mainly sweet stuff and no fresh vegetable or fruit. Which is a bummer for us, because we do like to eat healthy. The staff was friendly. The room was very loud. You could not open the windows because of the loud traffic. And some noises were coming from the air condition at night. There are also very thin walls of the rooms. Someone in the next room was watching TV very loud - we could hear everything (there was a lot of noise also from the hallway - people coming and going). But the view from the 4-th floor was amazing! You could see Vesuvio - really beautiful. Other than that it is a nice stay, but maybe not on the peak of the season or on the days when there is a lot of people in the hotel. The room and the hotel was very clean.
