Pleasant villaggio, nice clean rooms with basic accessories. We like a nice terrace where you can sit, eat, drink, play cards, whatever. The historical center is not too far for an evening walk or you can go along the beach. The only downside is the neighbouring hotel where they have late night disco and karaoke. Not San Lorenzo's fault, but you should take it into consideration.

Basic accommodations, with the bare minimum. Our initial apartment wasn't as described in the quote, so they upgraded it for a larger one, which was definitely better maintained.

Unfortunately, as a resort, it has a lot of potential, but it's run down, a bit neglected. Even the various apartments need maintenance.
The location is convenient, facing the beach (Marilupe beach, which is also too basic. Not even a footbath or shower. Tiny bar with limited selection, but at least it's a small beach with 10 rows of umbrellas, and it's very quiet since it belongs to the resort).
The covered parking within the resort is excellent.
Nice and clean pool.
The pass to see the entertainment at the Rainbow Village on Scialara is also excellent.
Price? Quite affordable.

A perfect little place to rest and gather new energy.
It was clean, well furnished, and the staff was pleasant and nice. The shop is near by, basically all you need.

A nice 3-stars residence, on the beach and close to the city even if with small children is still recommended to use the car to get closer to the city center for the classic daily walk. The apartments are huge, speaking for a vacation accommodation: two big bedrooms, one good size kitchen and a huge patio, basic furniture and confy beds. Some issues with the refrigerator, not fully functional, but the personnel in charge is really helpful and active. A nice pool, good for a swim when not overcrowded (afternoon), a tiny market and tiny bar. At the end it's a good place to spent a summer vacation.

We were in Villaggio San Lorenzo for a week in low season(last week of September). Things may be different during high season.
Pros: Very good price (inkl. cleaning and tourist tax, 300€ for a 2+2 family is great value for money), very friendly staff speaking good english, rooms are spacey, place is clean, veranda, mosquito net in every window and door, a lot of green, no problem with parking
Cons: only very basic equipment in the kitchen, no coffee- or teamaker, low quality pots, few place to prepare meal (only on the veranda), other things working badly or not at all (TV), thin walls (you hear the neighbours quite well), noise from renovations taking place, it's quite a walk to reach the city and there isn't any reasonable public transport available
(This part has no influence on my rating) Keep in mind that after season there aren't so many attractions available, many places are closed or working limited hours
