La Rosa Hotel - Selinunte in Marinella

We spent ten days at La Rosa and had a great time! The breakfast was fine, with plenty of croissants, cakes and fresh fruit amongst other items. The bar is basically reception, and is limited, but there is a seating area where you can have your drinks. The location is almost the last building in the street, the last one - a couple of doors away - is a restaurant; there are plenty other other places to eat in the other direction all the way down to the harbour. Opposite the hotel is a flight of wooden stairs down to a pleasant, sandy beach where you can hire an umbrella and two sunbeds for 25 Euros a day or just sit on the sand for free. There is also a beach bar that has a restaurant that has an all-you-can eat buffet for 18 Euros. All in all, highly recommended.

If I were to make a suggestion, it is to put some kind of water fountain outside hotel with recirculated water, to rinse off the sand from the beautiful beach below.

The staff were all very frendly, helpful, and professional. In particular, I commend Diego for his great customer service attitude, and for going the "extra mile" to be helpful. The breakfast options were very nice. The town itself is very charming, and the hotel looks directly upon the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is also situated very close to the phenomenal ruins at Selinunte.

Absolutely wonderful location with great views and good size rooms with small balconies and lines to hang your wet things. Very clean and bathroom appeared to have recently had a renovation. Beds and linens need upgrading however.

Staff are wonderful! So friendly and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast buffet was exceptional. The best we have had in Sicily.
